Not so happy with them today. You better watch out on the prices on there cheese. They changed the price tag as meat and tried to charge me 11.00 dollars for a little slice of cheese. And on the tag he put it as meat. Lol really thats not good business. People are having enough troubles. Here we got a store ripping us off hello pound of meat 20.00 dollars really. 11.00 dollars for a slice of cheese. Last time I go here. Meat market here I come.

Excelent place to buy food being this made there or getting delicious beef, pork, chicken meat to cooking to your liking and enjoy it with your family or friends. A little reminding of home !

Aight, so I moved to Corvallis last year and Ive been searching like crazy to find the best taco place in the area, they have great meat, fair prices and the tortillas dont fall apart. 10/10 I come from Corvallis just to grab lunch all the time.

Really good place to enjoy some delicious tacos. I ordered a cabeza, lengua, and tripitas taco and each one was very very bueno amigos. The hand made tortillas had a really good flavor to them enhancing the delicious combination of flavors.

Decent food and a great selection of authentic food items

Needed sinew for a project Im doing and they cut all their meats in house, so you know everything is good quality and fresh. Very friendly staff and some spoke English for when my Spanish failed me. I didnt buy any meats but I think next time I need some good meat for a fair price I will be returning here!

I like this market for the meat and chicharons. To day was the first time I went to the taqueria side and ordered 6 taco 3 different meats and a chicken chimichanga. I only recieved 5 tacos and the chimichanga was almost completely rice and beans with very little meat. Me and my girl were and one other guy were in there. They werent bisy at all. For the price they charge and as slow they were, my order was horrible. Will no longer go back.

I needed chili peppers, and had no idea what I was looking at. They were so incredibly helpful and friendly.

Very very good food. Very big proportions for the prices. I literally waited all winter in Alaska to finally come back down to Oregon to eat it. The customer service is absolutely amazing and very friendly. Would definitely recommend for future reference. Plus SUPER BURRITOS! There huge!

This food is so good! It is do good that even though the meat in the tacos a little over cooked, and they had been sitting in the fridge I gobbled those tacos up.

I had the best experience here! I am a small white woman, and I speak a little bit of Spanish. I was immediately greeted with warmth and kindness when I communicated in both Spanish and English. The gentleman behind their meat counter was kind, patient, and ecstatic that I was even attempting to speak in Spanish. Their meat counter is very well stocked, and extremely fresh. They have rarer cuts of meat, including soup bones and oxtails, all at very reasonable prices. Considering the difficulty in finding quality meat markets and butchers around Corvallis and Albany, I was astounded at this little gem of a location. I’ve seen other people post reviews complaining that they weren’t greeted immediately, or that no one paid attention to them, but this certainly was not my experience. I will most certainly be returning. Thank you Los Compadres!

Food is very good and authentic here and the price is reasonable. The small sauce bar is very good, great flavors in every sauce! I live nearby and walk over about once a week. Tonight I went at 7:22 PM. Hours state open until 9pm. If your going to run a business then stay open the hours you post otherwise post that you stay open (depending on business). Working the restaurant biz all my life customers want consistency! Other than that, I love this hidden little cantina!

Tortillas are made to order, the meat is well seasoned, and cooked right These three things made their tacos jump to being my favorite in Albany. The char on the pastor was just right to give awesome flavor and texture without getting dry.

This is the first time Ive eaten Mexican in Oregon where I could have sworn I was back in Mexico. Styrofoam plates, no diet soda, salsa bar for the tacos, the real thing. And, the food was great and reasonably priced. Ill be a regular here for sure.

Awesome little hole-in-the-wall authentic Mexican joint. Cheap, friendly folks, and super casual. Awesome salsa bar as well. Would highly recommend for a quick lunch or dinner.

This place is amazing! It is a small Mexican market with all kinds of fresh meet, cheese as well as dried goods. The hidden gem is the restaurant in the back! OMG! The food is amazing and the people very friendly!

Growing up in San Diego, I was accustom to quality Mexican cuisine and carnicarias. When I moved out of state, my main concern was finding Mexican food & meat markets the way I remember it. This market is exactly like the ones in San Diego. The meat is fresh, the carne asada and pollo asada are the best. Huge selection of different meats and cheeses, plus spices, salsas and many other things. I buy all my carne and pollo here, take it home and grill it up while drinking a cold beer!

This place is amazing. Billy goat soup; tongue, brain, and beef head tortas; and full body pork rinds.I had a beef head and marinated pork tortas and it was fantastic. spicy pickled peppers and carrots, fresh tomatoes and lettuce, delicious horchata.

The exaggerated flank steak price in salem I found it at 3 dollars less !!! I bought corn for pozole and rotten and dirty, the mojarras came out stinky and they never return the money even though the products are bad, it hurts that they do not take care of the reputation and quality of their business

I honestly do not personally recommend the store in the first xk as there they abuse the situation in which this orita prices rise to everything like a pound d steak almost 7 dlrs oh a pound d tomato almost 2.50 cents when in other places it is a pound of meat given to 4.30 cents and the tomato pound to 1.20 cents and I mention it because that is when the breed wants to save a few cents more like this situation
