Front desk was efficient and obtained needed information with good explanation. Back office completed the pre visit testing efficiently and courteously. The physician was attentive, gave clear explanation and recommendations. Follow up appointment was scheduled to meet my travel requirements and scheduled on same day.

Dr. Tibbits in Alamosa is great. The back office crew is great. I had an issue getting an appointment, and have to wait 3-4 weeks for glasses, but that is a supply chain issue. Overall, I recommend them

I found the person at the reception desk rude and downright snotty. I gave my identification cards and she virtually threw them back at me and wanted even more information which I could not supply and have never asked for before. Everyone else treated me with respect. Dr. Adams was very kind.I was given a multitude of forms to fill out asking for information that was frankly not appropriate to the situation. What difference does it make that I had my tonsils taken out in 1955! And that I fell out of a tree in 1957! I was nearly blind in the right eye. What does that have to do with the prostrate taken out 5 years ago? Or that I broke a hip 3 years ago. I truly believe that all that was intrusive and not their business! Totally unnecessary!

Very comfortable staff, willing to assist, answer questions. Very thorough exam. Large selection to choose from. Helpful and caring personnel.

The staff are all super nice and they treat everyone with care and respect. The waiting times are short. The doctor explains everything so you understand what is happening with your eyes and they are great with kids.

I scratched one of the lenses on my glasses and Ashley took great care of me! She was very kind and knew what to do. I gave her my info and from there she had replacement glasses ordered by the next day! She called to update me so I knew what was going on. 1. Dr. Tibbits is outstanding. He is the reason I still go to Rocky Mountain! Personnel has improved tremendously. At the start of COVI-19 pandemic it was not that nice. This time I had a pleasant experience. What a change! 2. Phones are still in the pits. Every time the phones are sent to Pueblo Offices, Alamosa callers are ignored. Profit in Alamosa must be really low compared to Pueblo for patients to be treated with such disrespect. No regard for patient welfare due no call back for any reason, such as medication refill and appointments. 3. I am still trying to connect to the Rocky Mountain Website. It does not help receiving an email instructing to connect, followed by one notifying of disconnect!

Doctor Brandon Tibbits is unfortunately a rare bread of physicians - he meets you with enthusiasm, caring and love of his work and does not have the feeling of being rushed.He is supported by a great staff.I highly recommend this office for your eye care.

I have been going to Rocky Mountain Eye Center for years. Dr. Tibbits has been my O.D. for all of those years. He is not only a top notch Doctor but I consider him a friend. I really appreciate his friendliness and his sense of humor. I have seen him in the Community and he is just as friendly, funny and as cordial as he is in the office. He seems to love his job. The only thing that I would add or ask is if they might be able to help a person or patient figure out if the insurance covers glasses in any way or not as I am still not sure if mine does LOL insurance companies are a nightmare......🤪

Following COVID I had difficulty finding a new clinic and eye doctor. After finding Rocky Mtn. Eye Center I was pleased because I had the most through and complete eye exam I believe I have ever had. The facility and all staff from the front desk, all techs & scribes, and the doctor were incredible, kind, and informative. We could not have asked or expected any better. The people at the front desk are not always polite. The last visit I had they were rude while scheduling me a follow up appointment.All other staff were pleasant.

Rocky Mtn Eye Center is my regular eye center for my yearly exams. Dr Tibbitts is great. I was disappointed at my regular check up(I wear glasses) that I was told at the front desk upon check out that I would have to make a separate appointment to pick out my new glasses. I hope in the future that when making a regular appointment for an annual exams that patients are notified at that time about making a second appoint for picking glasses.

I was referred here because of the VA, but I will not return, unless I absolutely must. The majority of the staff was pleasant. However, the two women at the front desk seemed to bothered by having to do their job. They were very short, and curt. Im pretty sure they were supposed to order my glasses, after I picked them out. The lady took my folder, printed out my prescription, and said Next.I asked what Im supposed to do now, to get new glasses. Ask the VA. And resumed ignoring me. Thats really not how you treat a brand new patient. AND, in addition to that, theres only one Dr., and at least 5 patient rooms, so I waited for about 40 minutes, to be seen by him. Needless to say, Ive already ordered my glasses elsewhere, regardless of what happens with the VA

Always satisfied. I have ONLY first rate docs taking care of me. That includes my eye care docs. Ive had Dr Tibbets for many years. I also just had cateract surgery 2 days ago also w Dr. Adams. I even wore my special socks for the occasion!! 😁. I couldnt ask for better care for my eye care needs. Definitely recommended!!

Dr. Tibbits has been great to work with. In addition, I cant speak highly enough of Tamara up front. Ive struggled transitioning into my progressive glasses. She has made several appointments available for me and has patiently and kindly answered all of my questions and concerns. She has made adjustments and is always there to greet me with patience and kindness. I appreciate that very much. I have ended up loving my glasses which is attributed to Tamaras work.

Overall great experience, very courteous and professional. The only problem I had was with their phone service. It took about 2 minutes per call going through their menu, and we called about 20 times before someone picked up (left messages, no answer). After reaching a human, all was well...

I did not have a lengthy wait, Dr. Tibbitts answered all of my questions, staff was polite and helpful. The only issue i had was when i was looking at the frames i felt the lady in charge of part was rude. There should of been a sign posted that said if you remove a frame, please place it in the basket provided.

I am shocked to see how many GOOD reviews are on here about Rocky Mountain Eye Center.My problems with this facility began when my grandfather (who is a Veteran), was seen here. He ordered glasses from here and had to return them not once, but twice because his prescription was not correct. I finally had to call the office in Pueblo to get some assistance on this, because the Alamosa office was not helpful.I was also seen here for an annual checkup, the front receptionist was not friendly and seemed to rush me when I was finalizing insurances and payments.My biggest issue began when I ordered my trial pair of contacts. I usually have to wait anywhere from 6-8 weeks for my contacts because of my prescription, but after waiting for that length of time, I hadnt heard anything back on my contacts. I called and was told that one eye was there, but they were waiting on the second eye, which is not unusual for me. I then called two weeks after and was told they were both there and they needed to sort through them. After waiting an additional week, I decided to call the office in Salida to get some resolution. I was told that my contacts were never ordered and that I would have to wait an additional 6-8 weeks for them to be available.I will not be returning here because of the unprofessionalism and lack of good customer service.

I am waiting for my computer glasses since 8/25/20 , today is 9/27/20. Over 1 month to have my computer glasses redone. Excuse given to me, COVID the cause for everything in this age in time! The prescription for the first pair did not work and now the warranty will be based on that 1st pair. Wonderful, maybe with luck I will be using my computer glasses with 9 months warranty! Lets cross my fingers and ask for a miracle at the same time.

I have been going to this eye clinic for over 25 years. The staff is very professional and their customer service is superb - very rare these days. I feel confident that my eyes are very well cared for!

Last week I called & asked if they had glasses in stock I ordered a year ago. Was told to drive my prescription to office & they will order for me. Drove the hour long trip- one way- to the office to drop off my prescription only to be told I need to make an appointment. I will NOT be returning to this location!!! Inconsistencies with any business concerns me.... I wanted to avoid appointments due to covid! Tried to keep it simple for everyone and this eye Dr chose to make it difficult.

Dr. Tibbits is great and hes the main reason we continue services here. His assistant is great too. The experience purchasing glasses, however, was disappointing. A little friendliness and some kind words would go a long way. Ill be purchasing eye wear elsewhere.

I think Dr. Tibbitts is a very good and kind eye doctor. One of the office staff upset me very much. She did not understand the type of insurance I have and I feel insulted my intelligence. She needs to learn about Medicare advantage plans.

Dr.Tibbitts and his helper were great! The reason I go back to you is the superb service I get from Rob Painter. He goes above and beyond to help with whatever I may need. He doesnt over sell but gives great suggestions. There was an older lady that worked the front desk when I went to pay that is not friendly at all. My eyes were dilated and she didnt even offer some temporary sunglasses (the rolled up ones,) or even suggest I get my prescription filled at your office. Again its because of Rob that I even came back.

First Experience with Dr. Rastrelli. Very Professional and gentle with eye injections. As an Italian, tried to make conversation with him. Not as Friendly as Dr. Basa. Assistants always helpful and encouraging. The girl in the Optical Department has never been as helpful as the Pueblo Employees. Always acts like adjusting my glasses is an inconvenience. I Hate asking her for anything.

On a referral from the Veterans Administration Medical Clinic in Alamosa, I asked to be evaluated by Rocky Mountain Eye Center concerning the progress of a cataract on my right eye. I was able to get an appointment, met with the folks at Rocky Mountain, Dr. Adams explained the pros and cons of having cataract surgery, discussed my particular situation and asked if I had any questions. All the personnel were very efficient, friendly, and professional. I would highly recommend them for your eye care.
