On the smaller scale, this Walmart still provides the necessities comparable to larger stores. What was quite amazing is considering it’s very small size, there wasn’t a lot of people here during the usually peak hours. The store was very clean and well maintained and the staff was very courteous at all times.

Teach the cashiers to bag groceries!!!!! The guy who rsnf me up today packed a such as he could absolutely get into each bag. Its not a competition to see how much can fit into one bag.Ive also had cashiers put ONE item in each bag. My entire order.... one item in each bag.

Clean, staff was friendly and efficient. Store was pretty well stocked, people were working on stocking shelves while I was there. Fruits and vegetables section looked great. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I will be back.

Caught a great deal on a pair of flip-flops for yard shoes. Found some silicone ice trays with odd shaped flip flops flag and other things going to use those for a gift basket but one of my children to make candy and use them as molds. Great place to go and if you know how to shop you get great bargains and youll leave happy

On the occasions I have stopped at this Walmart, I have had a better experience here than most. When Ive been, the store seems to pretty good at keeping product in stock.

Walmart will never get a good rating from me... Every store Ive been to is always out of stock on items and theres no rhythm or reason to their restocking... Almost all employees are amazing though...

This store is kept clean, stocked fairly well, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. That being said, I am very tired of products being marked incorrectly and always a higher price at the register. Todays incorrect price was on bottle of nail polish. I double checked that the tag said $1.00. . I was charged $98. I wouldnt complain but this is the umpteenth time. Tried to call,pressed 0 for associate, phone rang for 5 minutes.

Lot of groceries and home products. Great place for all in one shopping at reasonable prices.

I went shopping at my local Walmart in Alamogordo, NM. Ive always taken my small dog in with me. Its too hot to leave her in the car. DUH! I get to the door and Im told she cant come in the store in the cart because she will get it dirty. Then Im told she cant walk in because shes not a certified Service Dog. By the way, I was told ALL of this rudely. I left. I tried again a few weeks later at a different door, different person. Same rudeness. I dont plan on going back! Ive smelled dirty people and dirty diapers in this store, both touching the cart. My dog is not dirty and she was laying on a towel not touching the cart. Walmart needs to step up! 🤬🤬

Waited 17 minutes in line to pay. Then another 5 minutes to checkout. Only five checkout lanes open. Horrible. I pleaded twice to the service department to open more lanes. Customers were more than seven deep in all the lanes. Im from out of town, but the locals tell me this has been going on for three or four weeks now. Prices marked wrong and the store will not honor the mismarked price.

Its was a short stop but a good experience. Found what I needed. Always out of stock, too crowded & can never find customer service. The town is over populated and this Walmart is now unfit for better service.

Hardly ever stocked with everything I need, even though they try and stock the shelves during the busiest part of the day for some reason.

The usual Walmart Super Center a combination of department & grocery store. They have ok prices but dont necessarily carry the brands you want. The checkers were nice and courteous.

The Walmart experience usually includes a screaming toddler or two, but this store Also has restocking going on all the time. And the employees seem very irritated if you get in their way. Very unenjoyable experience every time I have been there. There is a Walmart Neighborhood Market in town that is far more pleasant.

I know were going through some strange times right now, but they really dont have a lot of things we would normally get. Its becoming a bit of a pain. Most of the time we use Walmart market.

My review is specific to the Auto Care Center. Arrived about 6pm and had a few people in front of me in line, no big deal. Waited for them, got to the desk and told him I needed a tire, as I had a flat. He said he didn’t know if anyone was able to do tires (at a car care center mind you) and he would find out after he took the call from the phone ringing. He was on the phone a while, enough time that I left to use the restroom and came back and he was still on the phone. This is now about 640pm and another employee asks how he can help me. I advise the same, that I need a tire, he says “sorry we closed at 630”, after I have been waiting for almost 40 minutes for the other employee to finish his phone call, and says I can come back at 0800 the following day when they open. I set an appt for 0930, arrive and have no real issues other than the employee asking if I want them to put the tire back on my car (seriously?!?). I then receive an appt reminder 12 hours AFTER the appt took place and it wasn’t even put in for the right time anyway. I wouldn’t suggest using the car care center here.Disclaimer, I only went to Walmart because Discount and Big O were both closed for the night and on Sundays and I was leaving town; otherwise I would have never gone in the first place. I do not recommend the car care center at this location.

Well stocked with everything. Despite it being peak hours, the line went quick.

The employees were flexible and helpful trying to find things and checkout. The layout of the store was weird, especially in comparison to other Walmart stores. For example, strong smelling laundry soaps were right next to food isles.

At the automotive department the guys were thoughtful about checking a low tire we had for at least months that other 2 Walmart locations couldn’t find

They could use more crashers and or better efficient shelf check out systems

Bought a bike some clothes and vitamins all in the same place got to love Wally World

Apparently they only have ONE key for the jewelry counter, which is currently lost. Also the lady behind the counter was very rude when I approached her about it. Do better!!!

Supercenter is well stocked. Usually very crowded throughout the day but the store is large enough you dont notice once inside. Usually very little checkers. Self checkout is your best bet for in and out quickly

Store always has problems with having cashiers. Wish the managers would prioritize getting patrons in and out of the store. Cashier lines are always three or four deep.

Food, drink, and alcohol well stocked. Friendly staff. Some struggles if you want to buy alcohol and the cashier is too young. Toys and clothes sometimes poorly stocked but that may all have to do with shipment availability.

Its a really good place for a Walmart that service is always great I just never give Walmart a high score cuz I dont treat their employees very well

Its a Walmart. It was good for people watching, and I didnt catch a disease so Ill call that a win. Id recommend going in and out as fast as possible to avoid potential eye contact. If youre looking for products like Sams Choice or Mainstays, I might recommend shopping here..

Wal mart Supercenter in Alamogordo NM has the shityest customer service in the region. I witness their greeter passing out dirty fillfy masks to customers that he dropped on the floor. He picked them up and start handing them out. He tried giving me one and I told to keep his mask. I reported them to corporate and shortly thereafter they stop giving out masks.

The lines were so long! They had very few lines open and even the lines at self check out were super long! I am disabled so standing there waiting to check out for so long is very painful! And as always its super hot in the store, but to be fair all Walmart stores are hot.

Personally, I dont care for Walmart. However, its almost one stop shopping.

3rd order in a row with missing items or expired meat products. This time I received a turkey breast tenderloin that is 3 days past expiration and it STINKS! The only way they could have missed that smell is if they arent paying any attention to what theyre doing. I was also given pico de gallo past its expiration date. Pick up and delivery has gone down hill FAST. Save your time, go in and shop. Albertsons also has pick up.

It was hafelp place and the people were very nice and very friendly

We use the grocery pick-up service all the time. It is VERY convenient and they do a very good job finding exactly what I order. I only gave them 4 stars because they have slipped a bit in finding substitutions.

The staff here is excellent. Loveata is always helpful and cheerful. The gentleman at the main door in the a.m. is wonderful he greats us and watching for people who need a power cart gets one, he always makes my day. Thank you 😊

Very rude customer service. Refused to give money that was sent to me even though I had an current ID and the confirmation code. Told me I needed two forms of ID, which I have never needed before. The employee was very condescending about the info on my ID. Kept sneering and saying Miiiisss slow. I have short hair but match my ID. They have regular customer service people handling money, and do not have the money center open. I traveled by bus 2 towns to pick up my money and was unimpressed by the rudeness.

Not the cleanest around, and like most Walmarts, there is never enough cashiers, and I refuse to bag my own items...

As long as you use the self check out its fine.

While grandson (with parent supervision) were trying on two pairs of pants Cheryl spoke mean & hateful murmuring complaints under her breathe. When presented with a question, shed respond with snappy words.

One of the most organized ones I have been in.

Shelves were empty especially in electronics, 90% of movies were empty. Looking for a new release but no one in electronics to help me. People greeter was nice when entering the store. All in all a sad Walmart, not sure how it is still running like this and why the DM would allow it unless they never visit.

Walmart in alamogordo new mexico.... well first off its walmart, way to busy with no were enough people working to restock or check. out. however the reps i spoke to when needing assistance were great. polite and shown me what i was looking for, i wasnt told over there or that way or i dont know. so it was nice to get help when needed. so down side, was looking for a birthday gift for a 9 yr old. toy section was a disaster. nothing was on the hooks. no action figures. just hot wheels and tons of pink dolls and babys, not what we were looking for. the rest of the store was similar. various departments were either partially stocked or not at all. again its walmart. if you go in expecting anything different then you may be disappointed.

Ordered pickup and said it’d be ready at 9-10, got there at 8:40 and tried to check in through the app like the email said to do, the app said pickup was closed at 8 so I pulled up and called the pickup number 30 times and no one answered, waited an hour and still nothing. Will never shop here or order pickup up again, horrible and waste of my time.

They were very helpful. I asked an employee where some medicine was, she climbed down off of a ladder and took me to the place where they kept it. Great place to get what you need.

I really wish they would open registers again. Its a pain to scan a grocery cart full of groceries on your own and place them on a tiny platform. Fortunately a worker saw my delima and got me a second cart.

I love Walmart. I hate how they introduce me to items, then those items are chronically unavailable, even tho they are still available to order on the app. So disappointing to only receive bread, for instance, without the stuff to make sandwiches with. Or hummus with no chips. Please fix this.

Great location for impressive, interesting explorations like White Sands Missile Range, Tularosa, Carrizozo, or the Ruidoso Mts area.

Curbside pick up was perfect.Very quick and professional, saving me valuable time.

Good Walmart despite it being new years eve

This WalMart is kept clean and organized. :) They are pretty stocked up in terms of essentials. Some workers are friendly and some are rude. Lines are usually short and move quickly. They dont have the best grocery selection compared to other Walmarts.

I like this location and the fact that it’s a market facility. My only issue is that the area by checkout seems too congested with product.

Goes down ever time I visit. I like the online appt. But li wont work for me since they changed it.

Why have 24 registers? In my 6 years in this town, I have never seen more than 5 cashiers working.

Whatever youre trying to get in Alamogordo you will not find it anywhere if you dont find it in the Walmart Superstore. If it isnt available on the shelves of this Walmart the only other viable place you might find what youre looking for is the Holloman BX, that is of course assuming you mean to find what youre shopping for locally.

Always have to remind myself not to stop here for something we can get a gas station. You have to walk a mile in the store and it takes forever to check out. But they have everything you might need.

Well me and friend had to stop for some more pillows hand soap and i loved the 5 buck movie collection in bins by the dog food. i was happy cuz i bought 3 movies for 13 14 bucks yeah john wick was less than 4 bucks. i love that movie

Less busy than most Walmarts and only Walmart within 45 miles. Usually out of most popular inventory items and for some reason they never restock those popular inventory items. Ex. We ask the manager to order Softener Salt every time we go in, but, they only order it once every three months or so, although they have had none for months. Hands down, worst Walmart I have been to in all of New Mexico thus far!

Had to get a new tire. Ben fudd a great job in a reasonable amount of time and hes a good bartender up in Cloudcroft at the Brewery.

My cousin is the manager here, so it was an absolute delight!

Worst experience ever at a Wal-Mart. Had our oil changed and tires rotated and the servicemen were very rude. After services were done, had to wait 10 minutes to checkout, even though there was a Wal-Mart employee talking to another employee. Totally ignored us and another customer waiting, until my husband asked if there was someone that could help us checkout. Then she was rude to us as well. We give this place no stars. Will never shop here again.

I have bought over a thousand dollars worth In gift cards & they all are bad in 2 months strench ...they say I take the responsibility not them they dont stand behind none of them......very poor business

More cleanly than the average Walmart, but that isn’t saying much. Selection is the bare minimum. You’ll want to get familiar with the app’s ordering process.

Catch-all center for anything and everything in Alamagordo. Clean, busy store with gas station in the outlet. Easy in and out location in the center of town.

I love the Alamogordo Wal Mart! Its always clean and not jam packed with people in aisles. The Associates are always so nice. My son dropped grape tomatoes by accident and a clean up crew was ready to clean and were so friendly.

I am not big on Walmart. Go to a locally owned store and pay a little more!!

Walmart has almost everything that I need for my house and needs. The employees are nice here and products are mostly all in stock. :)

You need more checkers. If Id wanted to check myself out, Id stay home and order from Amazon.
