The entire experience could not have gone smoother. The mattress expert quickly helped my indecisive teen find the most comfortable mattress for him and then physically pulled out several value options for him to test. Delivery came the next morning. The delivery people were also fast and professional and took away my old mattresses at no extra charge.

Buying a mattress is SO confusing - gel foam? cool gel? coils? all foam? Purple? Hybrid??? I did a bunch of searching online, where prices varied wildly, then decided with a purchase this important to my well-being, maybe I should take the time to go to a store & actually lay down on one.Enter Mike at Alameda Mattress Firm and I got a fabulous mattress and high-tech adjustable frame in the price range I could afford. Mike really worked hard to find the best options (based on my answers to his knowledgeable questions) and the best discounts for the combo I wanted. Tai was an absolute joy to work with. We recently just got through a fight with Sleepnumber and finally got our money back and them to take their HORRIBLE BED away and we went and saw Tai. What an amazing experience. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and got what we needed. I had a pleasant experience at Mattress Firm. The salesman was patient with me while I called another Mattress store in Alameda to compare prices. Mattress firm definitely has better deals. I purchased a Beautyrest BrandMattress as I wanted to have the same Mattress as the Marriott hotel. So far, so good. I have 120 days to try it out.

I was pretty frustrated so I just called the local Mattressfirm and asked if I could initiate an exchange there instead. I made an appointment to go to The mattress firm in Alameda the day before. When I arrived the manager was very friendly give me an idea of what to expect as far as choices, then showed me for five different possibilities. You gave me time to test out all the beds, worked within my price range and made all the accommodations so that I could walk out of the store with a new bed and box spring. I highly recommend this establishment.

Note: This is not a fake review. Needing to finally make a long term investment I decided to stop by mattress firm by my work place. First off, George was one of the first salesman that I have respect for, he is passionate about his work and he didn’t push any products onto me and gave his genuine recommendations based off my needs. George was very patient and gave me space to try out different mattresses. He answered all of my questions and also educated me on different mattresses, materials and design. On my first visit I picked up the purple mattress 3, I was already biased from online product reviews. The purple 3 was super comfy, I enjoyed the mattress but after about 2 months I figured it may not be for me and a mattress that was more firm (no pun intended) was what I was searching for. I came in a second time and good thing George was there, he helped me switch mattresses with ease and prior to that he continued to let me try out different mattresses. I went with the purple 2 so hopefully this will be the one. Definitely recommend George to anyone who is shopping for a new mattress, I had a great experience and George is definitely the guy to see about mattresses.

The person who helped us was amazing found everything we were looking for... the only but i have was that i didn’t feel welcomed by staff one of them was just on the computer and did not greet us or let us know that someone would be with us ... we waited about 10 minutes until we had someone help us.

I went to this store for a new bed and I had a great experience! The rep that assisted me was very patient as I tried different mattresses and was extremely knowledgeable. Even though I was unsure what type of mattress I liked in terms of type, firmness, etc. I was given a lot of assistance, and various options so that I could figure out exactly what I needed. I have had my mattress and bed for a couple of months now and I love it! It is so comfortable and I get the best rest! When I needed a new mattress, a relative raved about this place and said I should check it out, so I did. She was right! The staff was friendly, not pushy at all, and was able to answer all my questions. The woman who helped me really listened to what I needed and was able to offer recommendations in a variety of price ranges. The store is also in a great location and very clean, which is important when youre trying out beds. The mattress delivery was quick and the delivery people set the bed up for me so I didnt have to do a thing. They even took my old mattress so I wouldnt have to deal with it. And I love my bed! We love shopping locally and it is a very nice store for all types of budgets. You will definitely find what you need. Our sales person was Art a very pleasant person and very knowledgeable but,his sales tactics was somewhat undesirable.I came in with my daughter who was a learning disability and he just down load her with so much information he did not ask her how much she was willing spent and of course started to show us the high end mattress of course and that’s ok because you need to feel the difference and I get That and after I stepped in and said she has a budget he Procedures to see if my daughter would like to open up a credit card I advised him know we have cash to pay and that’s the way this transaction is going to happen.At the end of the conversation Art takes our information And assumes to start setting up a delivery date for the bed we haven’t even made a decision at that point it was the very first store that we stepped foot into look at mattresses. I advise Art if he Scheduled for delivery we will walk away and just take our business elsewhere I as a mom feel that is very harsh sales tactics and it’s not warranted and we did go to another store to look and at the end of the day it’s my daughter decision to go back and purchase bed from Art. Me personally I wouldn’t have I’ve would of gone to Costco to purchase the same bed for $900.cheeper and cut out the middle person but, they don’t takeaway the old bed.My advise to Art is ask more questions about how much is your budget and really know your audience and stop the aggressive sales.

Bought a queen size mattress for me. Love it and the price

Well I enjoyed testing the mattresses, unfortunately the sales man would subliminally tell me I couldn’t afford the one I wanted. He said derogatory comments like “oh, you think you can get the Cadillac, why don’t you come down here and try out these spring bed.” “That baby right there is going to be 5 geez.” I was deeply offended as if he were implying that we couldn’t afford the bed. He didn’t even walk us over to try these beds. When we tested the memory foam Black Beauty Rest, he walked away from us and gave up on the sale. He said subliminal jabs like how are planning on paying for that, payment plan? I was appalled as if payment plans were beneath him. It was a bad experience with the sales man. He was rude and unprofessional.
