Today my husband and I went to Kay in Alabaster. We were greeted by Ashley. I have to say from the moment we came in she was excellent! Not only did she help us pick out a beautiful new wedding set, she was sweet and friendly as well, and she helped us find a great deal! Thank you so much Ashley for helping us today. You were absolutely the reason we chose the ring and to buy from Kay! We will definitely back!!! I have been shopping here regularly over the past year today. Every month I take my new watches and have them sized down to fit me and they have been extremely friendly and cordial every time u walk through the door and of the dozen or so watches I have brought in for sizing they have only been able to not help me once over the year which is spectacular they dont push me to buy other things I dont want they only help me with what I need and customer service is boss here.

I have done a lot of business with this store, but the last 2 rings Iโ€™ve bought I had nothing but problems. The latest ring I ordered online and it was a promise ring for my girlfriend. One of the prongs was bent and not holding the diamond in place also tried to get it sized. The older lady was rude as usual stating she could not do anything even though we had the receipt showing it was brand new! Ashley is the best one there, but unfortunately she wasnโ€™t there on this occasion. Iโ€™ve spent ALOT of money with Kayโ€™s but I will be taking my business elsewhere! If you canโ€™t help me I wonโ€™t help your business!

I love the customer service I received from Ashley when I go into Kayโ€™s. She will take her time and help you pick the right jewelry for you. She doesnโ€™t get frustrated at all and you can tell she loves her job because she will go through each ring or watch until you find the one you like. What makes her so professional is the fact that she loves helping customers and putting there needs first. I wish all employees with Kayโ€™s had the same work ethic but unfortunately they donโ€™t so I will only go to Kayโ€™s when she is working. Kayโ€™s have one hell of an employee in Ashley they need more like her!!!!

I went in to buy my wife a Christmas gift and I was browsing to wait on Ashley. Ashley is awesome she makes the buying experience so much fun. Ashley takes her time doesnโ€™t get upset or frustrated and she will go through every piece of jewelry until she finds something you will love. I highly recommend everyone to go to Kayโ€™s and see Ashley she will make you want to back because she is the perfect people person with a beautiful attitude!!!!!

10 stars: I want to say that Ashley Martin at Kays is the person you want to see for a quality, professional, and thorough experience!! Whether its a necklace, watch, or wedding ring, she knows how to actually build that rapport and give the customer exactly what theyre looking for. I was unsure about a wedding ring anniversary set and she was patient with me through the whole process and now I have the ring of my dreams!!!! She is extremely knowledgeable of all the pieces in the store and will lead you to the item thats perfect for you!!! I plan on making another visit next week to get my husbands anniversary gift!!! She made spending close to 5000 dollars a great experience that my husband and I wouldnt have traded for the world that day!!!

Ive had nothing but good experiences with Kay Jewelers and today was no different. As I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Susan and she was very kind and professional and listen to what I wanted. I went in to look at engagement rings and she was very patient with me while I looked helped me order one just to have sent to the store so I can try it on and it was just an overall great experience. I will definitely be back to get my engagement ring from there!

Went there to buy my wife a Valentines Day gift around the first of February. Was changed twice by the store for her gift. Called the store to complain but they said it was my bank that made the mistake. Called my bank and they started an investigation. Finally received a letter from the bank informing me that Kay was the one that made the mistake and my bank is working on fixing it. It has been over a month and I am still having to deal with this. Do not shop here at all!!!

Iโ€™ve been to this store previously after moving to this location. I๏ธ have to get my ring cleaned and inspected every 6 months per my warranty. This last visit was not good at all. The older lady that saw me walk in had a smug look on her face and was not approachable. When she got my ring to clean, she took it over to some box and came back in two minutes wiping it off with a paper towel. It looked exactly the same. On my previous encounter at another store, a lady politely greeted me and cleaned my ring with water and a power washer. It was sparkly and looked like new. This alabaster store is no comparison and should do better. I๏ธ can clean my ring at home for what I๏ธ received today

Iโ€™m pretty much done with Kay Jewelers at this point. Iโ€™ll be taking my business elsewhere (and not just with this location - because I feel like this could have happened at any of their locations).I took my ring in for a repair because a stone fell out of it. I asked that they let me know the price before actually doing the repair. My repair slip clearly says:โ€œPickup date: 11/26/2018โ€โ€œEstimate Required? Noโ€Problem 1 was that I never officially received an amount from the repair shop (thatโ€™s a whole other frustrating story). And, the even bigger problem is that itโ€™s 11/26, and I have no ring.When I called today, I was told that 11/26 is the guaranteed date for the โ€˜estimateโ€™. But clearly, this repair slip, says something different (I wish I could post the picture). At this point, Iโ€™m just frustrated with the entire process. And Iโ€™m completely done.I gave two stars instead of one, because there was one young lady (Ashley) who has been trying to help me. And I appreciate her for that. But even still, Iโ€™ve received mixed information today from whatโ€™s on this slip of paper. Iโ€™m just done with Kays. I have to get my ring looked at every six months for my diamond bond after I finally get it back. But thatโ€™s literally all theyโ€™ll get from me going foward. I wonโ€™t be spending another dime there. And I hope and pray that I donโ€™t need another repair in the future.Setting the proper expectations verbally AND on paper would have gone a LOONNNG way with me as a customer. As well as receiving follow-ups every time that I was told that I would get one (during the process of trying to get them to tell me the cost). Iโ€™m extremely disappointed.

My husband and I have been long standing customers of Kay Jewelers. Specifically the Alabaster, al location. My husband purchased a simple necklace in Feb 2016 for me, so approx 7 months ago. It has been worn a total of maybe 20 days since then. It broke this past Wednesday when I moved it from the side of my neck to the front. It wasnt tugged, or pulled on...it just broke. The quality is so poor and no one (Kays customer service nor the actual store) will stand behind this product. No repair or replacement offer (because its outside of 60 days as if jewelry shouldnt last longer than 60 days). Not even a credit to my acct. We have spent thousands of dollars at this store over the years. Im so disappointed. I will not be returning.

Let me just start by saying this rating is the way it is, not necessarily because of the customer service or my experience at this location, but a review on the jewelry repair department. I sent my ring off to be resized and have a new head put in.... $500?!? Whatever... okay... it needs to be done... Iโ€™ll pay for it. They also said they would tighten all of my stones for no charge, so Iโ€™m thinking okay thatโ€™s a little better. Two weeks without my ring and it finally comes in. My fiancรฉ tries to pick it up, but they wonโ€™t let him. I understand itโ€™s their policy, but he was the one who signed the paperwork when we originally dropped it off and he was the one who paid the $500. So, I go up there and pick it up... try it on, itโ€™s fits. Iโ€™m happy. I leave the store and itโ€™s like Iโ€™ve seen my ring for the first time all over again because all Iโ€™m doing is looking it over and inspecting it. I take it off my finger and realize where they resized is flat(essentially meaning they clipped the excess gold and put it back together)... so when I asked for the excess gold they clipped of... they keep it. I was completely dumbfounded. I just gave them $500 PLUS they get to keep the GOLD they just clipped off my ring?!? Thatโ€™s MORE money they are making!! What a freaking rip off! Then I look at the inside of my ring that has an extremely pretty design... RUINED. Took my ring back to the store that night and expressed to the lady that I was extremely upset they messed up the inside and I wanted it fixed. She said they had to do that because the head is bigger than the previous on. Well... We looked under their magnifying machine... the piece that looks like it was broken off and had metal or gold soldered back on wasnโ€™t even holding the head in place. I asked the lady to call the jewelry repair department and ask if they could fix it. Never heard back from her. Also, the stone tightening obvious wasnโ€™t done too well considering Iโ€™ve had a small stone fall out. DO NOT TAKE YOUR JEWLERY HERE TO BE REPAIRED. Iโ€™ve talked with countless people who have had the same issue.
