We have never hired a moving company so I wasnt quite sure what to expect. Everyone was great 👍. The young men were polite, professional and all got along so well. Working as a team the day went smoothly and made this big move so much easier for me. I appreciate you all so much!!!

Moving is the worst but Two Men and A Truck made it a very positive experience. Christina, the customer service representative, took my initial call and was very pleasant, thorough and professional. Jonathan and Greg were my moving team and were also, professional, courteous and efficient. My belongings were wrapped, carefully loaded and unloaded and arrived intact and unharmed. They took care in exiting and entering the homes without damaging walls or door frames but kept on task and completed the job two hours earlier than expected. I appreciated the phone call that Jonathan made to me as he and Greg traveled to my home, giving me a one hour heads up on the morning of my move. Kudos to the Akron Two Men and A Truck franchise. The two young men (Phil and Paris) that actually performed the move in my home were extremely careful with all of my furniture and were very concerned that they set up everything to my satisfaction. These guys showed right when scheduled, and after a quick walk through, they got to work. Very fast and efficient. They were very careful with our furniture and nothing was damaged or lost. We were originally quoted for 6 hours, but they are done in 2. Taylor, Scott, and Vinson were super nice and worked very fast.

We moved across town and wanted to support local business. What should have taken probably 2 hours, they did in 45 minutes. They are careful with items theyre moving and the guys were professional, and on time. They do start payment charges when they leave the shop, and forgot to tell us; so they kindly refunded that extra fee. We recommend highly for timely and professional service. Very affordable. I have been working with Two Men & A Truck for over 10 years now. Once again their service exceeded my expectations in moving my office which included three stops.Two wonderful young men showed up at my house promptly, willing to serve, and we began our day in prayer. I had used 2 Men and a Truck for a local move 9 months prior and was so happy, I went with them again, but a different office(Akron, Ohio). They were just as great as my first move. The 2 movers were right on time showing up at my home to move AND my new home the next day. They were incredibly professional and friendly, effectively used their time. They were very gracious to my elderly mother, ensuring she had a chair to sit while they loaded everything. They were patient when asked to move a few things to different rooms at new home. Thank you and your team who helped my Mom move this week. Over the weekend she had some issues with the hours of her move extended almost double for her small apartment move from one building to the next building over. The new estimate given was very confusing and my Mom was concerned in the communication and directions she was given over the phone just days before her move. She had called me very upset. I had made a call to the office to get some clarity in the situation and was transferred to Alan. He was extremely patient and understanding of my concerns. I understand the hard work that comes with labor and moving, and applaud the crews who work long hours, heavy lifting rain or shine. I was unable to be in town due to the pandemic to assist in this process so when your parent calls you upset and concerned you have to try your best to understand the situation to ease their mind. Alan not only was very professional and helpful over the phone with my concerns he even stopped by to check in during her move and followed up with a phone call to me. I really appreciate the team on site and Alan for making this experience from a negative into a positive. My mom was moved successfully and so thankful for the great team that helped her even in the mist of a pandemic. You all are rock stars! I truly appreciate your time, patience and understanding. I had to schedule Two Men and a Truck with just two days notice as my other moving company canceled on me the morning of moving. They were able to fit me in and I was so grateful! Christina helped me set everything up and was so great!! The movers were awesome! They were able to come earlier than the estimated time, moved everything with ease and carefulness and assured me they would take care of everything. Two men showed up right on time. They professionally handled the piece of furniture: packing it and moving it so there would be no damage. They also pointed out a nick in the bottom corner of the item. On the receiving end the furniture item was transferred into the space gently so the gladss portion of the furniture remained in tact. I would have no hesitation calling Two Men and a Truck again!

I just used the Streetsboro franchise for my move. I have accumulated a lot of stuff, including antiques, throughout my adult life--hopefully this is my LAST move--and the three young men who helped me were very careful, courteous, and fast. The last time I moved I used a cut-rate outfit, and they were four hours late! It was so stressful. This time I decided to go with the pros, and Im glad that I did.

Had Garrett and his crew Sam and Caleb move my 3 bedroom house. The team was meticulous about wrapping every piece of furniture in mats and protecting every entryway surface. They were practiced and determined, and were able to get everything where I wanted it despite the narrow doors and cutback staircases of my 1920s home. They got in on time and were done well before the estimate. I could not be more satisfied with the group.

Our whole experience was awesome, but we were especially impressed by the guys who packed and moved us; Jonathan and Brian and their crew! If moving again, I would definitely ask for them! They had a cheerful and respectful attitude and their work ethic couldnt be beat. They were also careful and kind to our kids who wanted to watch everything the movers did, a great bonus!

The three men that showed up were great. I had a heavy 1 unit washer/dryer combo they had to move up two flights of steps and boy it was no easy task but they managed it well. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I can not rave enough on how wonderful my moving experience was with the Akron, Ohio team from Two Men and a Truck. Our movers were great. Joe, Brian and Devin were very professional and had a wonderful attitude. They were very flexible and worked well under difficult circumstances. They definitely deserve 5 stars.

I scheduled ahead of time and then revised as the move got closed--no problem. They verified the date and time as we got closer to the moving date. On the moving date the team was right on time. We walked through the house to verify what was being moved and where to. The team were all very courteous and attentive, asked questions for clarification. For a few things during the day, they sought clarification rather than assuming. They padded and covered everything that might be damaged--moving blankets and saran-like wrap. At the move in site they took care to get everything right where we wanted in, several times moving a piece of furniture 3 or 4 times (just inches) to be sure we were satisfied. I recommend them and I would definitely use them again.

Edit: I am changing my review because after being billed, I had noticed a higher charge amount on my card. I called and apparently after giving me my bill, the movers had added $100 to the bill as a tip to their copy of the bill. I was not even asked about a tip and my bill shows my total without any mention. This is not only completely unprofessional, but also theft and fraud. The company has said they will refund me the difference, but this is not an ok practice.

Charles, Reese and Destin moved me this past Monday. The were very professional, pleasant and worked at a good pace moving my heavy furniture. I would recommend Two Men and a Truck to everyone if you want your move to go smoothly.

I recently used this company. I was very happy with the outcome. The Akron location was not available so I was told I had to use the Streetsboro location. Since it was out of my control, they reimbursed me for the travel time difference. Thank you so much to management for going out of their way to accommodate myself, the customer. I will definitely be using this company again down the line.

They broke my picture frames and they goofed around and took to long so i had to pay more then what i needed to and they acted lazy at the end they hit my tv on the wall

My team of movers did a fantastic job!!! They arrived promptly and worked both quickly and efficiently. I had two or three larger pieces, but they were able to get them out of the old house and into the new house quickly and with great care. Very friendly and communicative staff. Even when I surprised my movers with lots of extra stuff they were professional and courteous and took great care of everything. Great guys and great experience from start to finish. If I could leave zero stars I would. Three men one truck took 8 hours 45 minutes to move a one bedroom ranch....no sense of urgency, texting, watching each other do nothing. Did not lay anything down and trashed my house. I hired movers to make this stress free... they added more stress to this small move. I feel like I was totally taken advantage of and they feel giving me a credit of 1 hour 45 minutes is justifiable. Well its not. I moved half my own stuff because they were so terrible. Thanks for gouging me for over a grand for moving one bedroom, no couch, no appliances, just boxes. What a terrible experience. Do not use them. My 12 year old nephew and his friends would of had us moved faster than these yahoos!

Overall, we were extremely happy with the services of Two Men and a Truck in Akron. Everyone at the office was courteous on the telephone. James and Jessie were great when they came to do the estimate. We would especially like to complement the professionalism, care, courtesy, and overall exceptional attitude of Riley and Charles who moved our belongings from our home in Ohio to our new home and also to the storage facility nearby. They were great! You can be proud of them as your employees!

I used two men and a truck back in 2016 hands down good job. So really it isnt the workers I had/have a problem with, its the female in the office that called me trying to make me move my appointment to a time that was never talked about. If I schedule a appointment at hrs between 1-3 thats what it should be, dont try to force me to have movers move me all because they finished a job 4 hrs early prior to my scheduled appointment. So with that being said I was able to drop two men and a truck from moving me and had a good on time move with movers 911... they gave me a time came at the right time and everything was still within 1-3.

Everyone was great to deal with. The movers were very nice and were actually fun to be around as they were teasing each other a little and making some funny comments! They actually made the move very pleasant. Just a great bunch of people all the way around.

Unfortunately everything was perfect on scheduling the appointment. But cancelled and still got charged a service. I had moved the material I hired them to move and cancelled on Thursday afternoon ... well before the 48 hour policy she told me about.Monday I never got a call nobody showed up but I got charged 250. Such a shame because I was going to use this company in the future.Lesson learnedUpdate: the mater was taken care of. The bookkeeper was out of the office when the charge took place. They explained the mistake and corrected it properly and promptly.

These guys were nothing short of AWESOME! They arrived on time... took a walk thru with me and got right to work! They wrapped just about everything in padding then plastic wrap to keep the padding in place. Ive used them before and Ill use them again! They even came in under their estimate! What a bonus!!

Worked here for two weeks. Loved it a lot. Workers were awesome. Supervisors the nicest. Well one day a customer that was completely crazy said one of the four of us (The crew moving her house) stole $100 out of her purse. All 4 of us said she was crazy. Did not matter. All 4 of us got terminated. Makes me laugh because one of the things I said I look for on my application was loyalty. They must have skimmed through it.

We used 2 Men and a Truck to move from one household to 3 others. The movers were professional, friendly, and efficient. They came in and mapped out the most efficient way of distribution then got right to the work. We had a washer, dryer, refrigerator to move along with an elliptical machine and other pieces of furniture. Two guys did all this and were in and out the door within an hour. The move was well worth the pricing which was reasonable.

Well I requested a quote via their website and received one right away. Then I had a change in destination and instead of single family home it was apartment so I req another quote and they never responded at all. I thought maybe due to being in apt they didnt want the job but they never called or emailed to decline job. I was very disappointed, I have always used 2 men and a truck for all my moves.

The men arrived early. They were pleasant and hardworking. My move made for well over a 12 hour day for them and they never quit. They were very helpful and careful. AND 98% of my belongings ended up in the room in which they belonged--which is to say there were two stray boxes. I consider that a success! Last time I moved, I did not even get some of my belongings.

The men worked extremely hard and did a fabulous job. The day was long, and our furniture was heavy. Added to it was that some of the heaviest pieces had to go upstairs and around a bend.
