Props to the girl closing tonight Tuesday, July 6th 2021. People flooding in 4 or 5 minutes until closing time. With one woman being mean to the poor girl. Then the system stops working, and she didnt dont know what to do. As a server in the service industry its not easy when people simply just dont understand. Give her a raise for sticking it through. She deserves it.

On Sept 15, my wife said do you wanna go for ice cream? I said Heck yes! The next thing you know she is driving past the local Stoddards and heading to downtown Akron.We were greeted with smiles from both employees and were offered free samples of the large array of flavors that were offered!I cannot describe how amazing our ice cream was and I plan on telling everyone I know to come in as you guys nailed it right on the head when opening your store! delicious delicious delicious.

I loved the vibe and atmosphere of the place. Its tucked away but once you find it you wont be disappointed. The homemade icecream is delicious and when you order one scoop its actually three ,so its worth the money. $2.50 a scoop is kinda expensive but for the amount you get it is not that bad. My favorite flavor is the maple bacon with chocolate but there are so many other great flavors.

They carry lots of flavors you can’t find anywhere else, flavors you’ve never even imagined, right alongside perfected recipes for some of the classics if you or someone you’re with doesn’t want to steer outside their ice cream comfort zone. For most people, you’ll want to try pretty much all of the different choices, and you’re absolutely allowed to ask for baby spoon sized samples (how else would you know if you wanted to spend money on ice cream with ingredients like lavender, Cabernet, cayenne pepper or balsamic glaze mixed in? Try some new stuff!). The prices aren’t outrageous at all, you’d easily be charged much more for something like this in a snootier spot in a bigger city. Speaking of which, the atmosphere is super family friendly and casual, nestled in an old building, part of the historic arts district downtown.

When I stopped in I was greeted in an unwelcome manner. Im not sure if the service I was given tainted the flavor of the ice cream, but I got a passion fruit flavor scoop and it lacked in flavor. Despite the service I still left a tip. I wont be stopping in again.

I love love all the fancy flavors! I cant choose because each one of uniquely lovely. My daughter is addicted to the sorbet, so with ice cream and sorbet, add the chocolate, trifecta!

This place is unique and delicious! They have many flavors (maybe 20+) each visit and they change frequently. You can sample taste as many as youd like! Definitely a must do!

Best ice cream in the Akron area. Parking is a little rough because its limited to street parking or paying at the garage across from the art museum, but Akron is a very walkable city. Chill is a little odd to get to. If you enter from the street, its down a staircase (next to Akron Coffee Roasters) with splatter paint on the walls, then down a hallway that will eventually open up to Chill. Entering from near the Valet parking lot, there is a garage door thats open in the summer, or a door next to it thats open year round. There are a ton of very original flavors that are inspired by community groups. They give out as many samples as you want, which you will want to take advantage of because the flavors are so unique. The prices are fair for the amount of ice cream that you get. The atmosphere and decor is a little odd. But all that can be put aside for the deliciousness of this ice cream.

Stopped in after a show at Musica. Tried a scoop of the Over The Top Butter Pecan in a waffle cone. Flavor and texture were both fab. Wake cone was very tasty. $3.95 hard to go wrong with that! Good variety of flavors which they also offer in malts, shakes and sundaes. Check it out!

This place is a hidden gem in Akron, I say hidden because you have to go down steps and around a blind corner to get there. Once there, however you will have discovered an Oasis of creativity and flavor.The staff here is sweet and friendly. The owner is cool and knows what flavors lend well to others.Just go try it!

Great place, many flavors. The owner is a nice guy, we went 5 minutes before closing and he let us sit and enjoy our ice cream. I didnt really enjoy it though because I wanted it to get something different without looking the flavors in the label. I got the dragons breath that has cayenne pepper on it!! Probably the best ice cream I have ever had. I literally drove 20 minutes to buy a gallon to give someone as a gift. I assumed I was going to have to buy several gallons. I wanted someone to try multiple flavors because theyre all so incredibly good, but the owner allowed me to mix different flavors in 1 bucket. He was fun to talk to, sweet, helpful & allowed me to really make a special gift for an ice cream conisuer. I will continue to go back & recommend his & his mothers store, in Medina, over & over & over again. It is that good! The quality is there & the variety of flavors make it interesting & fun! They really add to the community both in Akron and Medina.

Chill was the first ice cream place I went to in Akron, and still remains to be my favorite. Their flavor menu is always changing, with unique flavors that you dont see anywhere else. They make their flavors themselves, so you know youre getting fresh, authentic ice cream. My favorite is Chocolate Milk and Cookies!

Millenially trendy. Ice cream was so-so. The vanilla was tasteless. Atmosphere and decor strains to be artsy but misses the mark. The young downtown clientele keep it open. Anywhere else and it wouldnt fly. So I guess if youre downtown, twenty-something, and want to be cool stop and drop a few bucks. If you want good ice cream find someplace else.

We came on a Sunday 45 minutes after opening (checked google, yelp, their website, and social media) but it wasn’t open. No note on the door. Called and no message on the answering machine. Super frustrating because we went out of our way to come here in the 95 degree heat! I’ve heard great things about the ice cream but I’m not sure I’ll try again. :-/

This is seriously the most awesome place Ive discovered in Akron. Tons of variety, the (cute) guy on staff was really friendly and let me try a bunch of flavors to choose between all the types of chocolate. Best ice cream in Ohio, fight me on this. They have a lot of cool & unique flavours as well as the staples. They switch up flavours often so every visit makes you try more. The workers are very nice and friendly, they get to know you and your orders if you come in a lot. In the center of downtown so parking is difficult, but theres a back lot thru the valet you can use for free. Open pretty late for an ice cream shop.
