Recently placed a large pick-up order of an assortment of cookies in lieu of cake for my wedding. They were a big hit with all of our guests and a sentimental nod to the first date my husband and I went on.I was picking the order up the day before the wedding, and in my own scatterbrained mess, I arrived about 3 hours early for my pick-up time to a single employee working after a call-off. I didnt catch her name, but she deserves all the praise in the world for cranking out my whole order on top of opening the store alone!

Best cookie place ever!! They also deliver, and theyre open late into the A.M. what better to suffice late night cravings than cookies and ice cream? I cant think of anything better. They service was great and quick, and currently at the moment they have buy one get one free twelve packs of regular cookies. Cha ching!

Got a half dozen cookies, chocolate mint, and white chocolate macadamia. They were delicious! Let me just say, you could buy a gallon of milk for less than a little bottle of milk they sell. 😳

My first experience of fresh hot cookies, not a big fan of sweet cookies. Never know it can be that good. Love what we’ve got, me especially the white chocolate macadamia. It has coconut chips in it. You can also tell they use higher quality chocolate in all chocolate flavors. Every bite from the beginning to the end, full of surprise in very cute elegant different sizes paper boxes. U can definitely use it as a gift box. Just can’t stop eating it. Highly recommended.

Bought a dozen cookies (half classic and half deluxe) for $26. They were terrible. Greasy and completely under baked. A waste of money. Not to mention that the customer service was almost nonexistent. Walked in to two employees lounging in the lobby and barely got a smile. I felt like I was imposing instead of welcome. Wont be back

I am updating my review. It appears they have improved the order online delivery costumer service experience. That plus the cookies are delicious and warm. Congrats insomnia. Sweets delivered to your door late at night. So delicious.

Instant attitude adjustment. Having a warm, fresh, gooey chocolate chunk cookie is the remedy for most of what ails you in life. As others have mentioned: They age incredibly well and are still remarkably tasty the second day. I froze some of them, only to reheat them in the oven for a few minutes, and it was like a newly baked cookie.

Me and my kids went cause we were in the area for my daughters doctors appointment. It was open even with the Corona virus. So I get why we couldnt eat in there we had to order and leave. That was understandable. There cookies were ok. But the drinks were only water and milk. Which was kind of not a lot of options. The service wasnt horrible but I dont know, just wasnt worth the time to go in. Especially being cookies and kids coming in, you would think it would be happier or more alive. Just doesnt do enough. For all that buy cookies at the store. In my opinion.

I love this place, I’ve been here several times. But last night I ordered the super man ice cream and when I ate most of it, I pulled this sharp piece of plastic out my mouth. I’m not shaming insomnia cookies this could’ve came from whoever makes your ice cream.

Came in and ordered today. Very good food! My only problem is that the lady at the register who also helped make some of our food wasnt wearing gloves and had her mask on her chin the whole time. I noticed that everyone else had their mask fully up though

What a fantastic little gem in the heart of downtown Akron! The cookies and ice cream were amazing and the staff was incredibly friendly. Great price for a terrific dessert. A decent amount of seating indoors however I could see it getting a little crowded if they had a large summer crowd.

Sam and Nora helped me out so much! On top of great service, they went out of their way to right a slight wrong (which was not their fault in the slightest). With a smile of course!!I’ve always loved Insomnia and now I love ‘em even more!

TWICE. Ive ordered from this place. TWICE theyve delivered over 90 minutes late. Their delivery services are a joke. I will never order delivery again. Cookies are pretty good though. Cold due to the late delivery.

Cookies are good, but WAY overpriced. I wouldnt recommend using their delivery however because we usually have 1-2 hour delivery times and every single delivery they have forgotten at least one item. I would recommend either going in person or only using delivery if you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO.

No Cash. This place does not accept cash payments. It would be cool if it said that somewhere on their website, here, Facebook somewhere prior to driving out there. The excuse? COVID. Cool, so if COVID is the reason, make your employees wear their masks correctly and wash their hands.

Expensive generally, but the cookies are really dang good. Open late for a fun snack and they deliver which is cool.

This is a favorite we take the kids for Ice Cream at night and i have alot of fond memories and laughs sitting on the wall out front , winter and summer eating ice cream and makin memories

Never been to this store before. We were the only people in the store. Asked the lady working there what was good. She replied that she hasnt eaten the product before in a too cool kind of way. Really off putting. I think she was more interested in what was on her phone or maybe it was because we were white.

I am more of a cake and donuts person, but these cookies are amazing. Soft, warm, delicious, and addicting. A little much butter on days where I want to feel healthier, but I still never say no when they are offered. Great varieties as well. Excellent staff, always friendly and quick to help.

My mom, sister, and I went to the one in Akron. We knew they had gluten free options, but when we got there, we were told they only offered those cookies online and not in the store. I watched my sister eat her ice cream sandwich. It looked amazing!!!

Yummy cookies!!!However, my daughter asked for a glass of water and the worker told her that she couldnt give her water as its well water- dont know if thats true but its hard to believe theres well water servicing that location in the center of downtown Akron. So we paid over $2.00 for a bottle of water there.However, we will definately order the delicious cookies again but will take them home.

I’ve been waiting 2 1/2 hours for my order . Driver just messaged me and said he accidentally went to Akron instead of Cuyahoga falls. Guess there are two street names that are the same? Even though my order receipt says Cuyahoga falls. Super disappointed, and if the cookies ever do arrive I’m sure they are cold by now. Horrible experience.

Delicious cookies! Fair prices. Quick and easy service. They also have ice cream if youd like. I wouldnt recommend buying the milk , its definitely overpriced.

Everything was over priced. There were only 6 ice cream flavors and the cookies were extremely sweet. Bring your own water bottle if you go they charge too much for drinks.

The Akron location’s cookies taste stale or more like the pan they’re cooked on. Try the Kent location and compare. Kent tastes way fresher.

This place is awesome. The gentleman in the business was very polite and helpful. These Cookies are wonderful. The best Ive had in my life and trust me, Ive eaten quite a bit of cookies in my lifetime.

The cookies were excellent and the service was fantastic. They may not have dozens of different types of cookies, but the ones they have are good. I personally like how they are served warm, but they are just as good eating them later.

This place is really interesting by delivering cookies until 3am (smart being a block away from a college campus). The cookies are good but theyre priced high. Staff is friendly, but because of pricing Im not sure how often id come here.

Great place to stop. Akron is a great downtown scene with a lot of reinvestment. Parking is always manageable, and area can be quite busy because of University presence.
