I would not recommend Mr.Tire at ALL. I sent my daughter to purchase 4 tires for her car a month ago. The bill came to $600.00 with a warranty and she has a small car. The very same day the light indicated tire pressure low they did not know how to reset and one tire ended up with a whole in the side. They finally found the same tire after a long wait. Today she went because it was a nail in her tire. She still ended paying out of pocket for a new warranty on the new tire. Prices are way too high and I feel like they totally got over from the beginning because she was young. Nothing like Monroe that was previously at that location and we utilized often.

1996 Toyota Corolla:The service was okay to say the least. I had an exhaust leak which was fixed but I paid for an alignment and it still feels like the front was never aligned (it turns out there alignment machine was down so they took it to a different mr. tire for the alignment). I also informed the shop that I have a slight knock/popping sound over bumps on the front end and to have it diagnosed… it just seemed like they didn’t have the capabilities or knowledge to give a proper diagnostic.I was told the sound is coming from the rear even though I surely identified the problem from the front end.Needless to say the exhaust is fixed and everything else wasn’t properly diagnosed.

Employees are really friendly, they just need to get some experienced people there. Took them 2 hours to plug my tire and put it back on, mainly due to lack of supplies needed to do the job. How do you not have bead seal for tires and your a tire shop. Management had to drive across town to get some from another store.

Took my mother’s car in for loud brake grinding and was informed that the “back brakes were great but the front are shot and you need new rotors and calipers, we’re looking at minimum $600.” We have a good personal family friend that runs his own automotive repair business we always use, we took the car to him and Mr Tires diagnosis was completely backwards. The rear brakes on the car were shot and the fronts were fine along with no need for calipers or rotors. A quick $200 and the car is all done and driving great. I don’t think I would trust this place again after that gross miscalculation.

I only get oil changes there. No sure if they know what they are doing.

Ouick helpful and a great price who could want anything else, give these guys some business.

Want to say Mitch and James were lifesavers last week. Even though they were slammed, they took me in just before closing and went the extra mile to get my tire patched and even made it to work on time! Thank you guys!

The floor my car was very dirty when I got it back I put something on the carpet to protect it from their footprints I have to clean my car out and I just got to clean I dont appreciate that

BEWARE OF THIS STORE and OF MONRO!!! If I could give zero stars I would. My son took his car here in April due to a power steering issue. He was told he needed a power steering pump and was charged almost $900 for the repair. He got his car back several days later and it was still not fixed. He took it back and they took his car in again for multiple days. Over the course of the next 2 months his car was in and out multiple times for multiple days to a week each time, during which the power steering pump was to be replaced again and also the rack and pinion. Finally, the first week of July he was supposed to get his car back, fixed after they once again had it for nearly a week. We went to pick it up and the store had been abandoned... it was literally closed. We called customer service because his keys were locked in the building and he couldnt pick up his car. They finally sent someone from another store to open the building and he got his car back and it still was not fixed. We have called customer service since then and they told us to take it to another Monro, which we did. Customer service then told us to take it to a Chrysler dealership to get a diagnosis, which we did and paid for out of pocket. The dealership informed us that the work that was supposed to have been done by Monro had never been done. We submitted the paperwork back to customer service nearly two weeks ago. They initially told us that it would be 24 to 48 hours to get a response back. We have called several times since the paperwork was submitted and have been met with rude customer support agents and have still had no response from the person that the dealership paperwork was submitted to. I am disgusted and infuriated by the wildly unprofessional conduct of both the store personnel as well as the corporate customer service department.My son has spent over $1,000 at this point and also had to get rental cars multiple times over the past 4 months which is probably at least another $600 to $800. HE IS STILL DRIVING A CAR WITH NO POWR STEERING FOUR MONTHS LATER and Monro has done nothing to remedy this situation!!!

Went here its a tire shop charged us and started to balance one tire, dont know if he didnt know what they were doing or if the balancing machine wasnt working but was told they were short staffed and closing soon even though it was 4:45 When we got there and they closed at 7:00.They said we cant do this and refunded our money. :(Go to Major League Tire in Hartville OH worth the drive. They took the time and helped us out. :)

Had I a new battery put in last summer and things were all running good with my car then around Christmas time it’s started acting weird, in fact it stopped cranking at all so I towed it to my local dealership where I purchased the car and they called me a week later and said that whoever put my battery in had forgot to put a bracket back on that would hold the battery in place smh the battery had been jumping around in my wheel well for 6 months and ended up dripping out my negative terminal. I called Monroe’s to inform them that somebody had made a little mistake on my car and they said all they could do was send the paper work to Corporate see if I could be reimbursed... That was 2 months ago smh still haven’t heard from corporate or the shop on Arlington rd Akron Ohio

Most amazing repair shop I’ve ever been to. They were so through with my car and let me know exactly what it needed. I waited for the brakes and they had me out in 30 mins. Can’t recommend this place enough!!!

Manager is a friendly person and did not try upselling any product or service, which - as a female owner of an old, used car - I appreciate very much. I made an appointment with the shop for 10 a.m. on a Tuesday; however, I was a few minutes late but they still were able to get the car in. I was there a little over an hour but every bay was filled so I understand the wait. Overall, great service and price. Will be back for another oil change.

Thought they were really working with me instead of against me. Richard was my mechanic on 3.13.19Went in with an engine light on + a case of the shakes. Two coil misfires diagnosed. Spent my entire day there to be told that I need to Uber home because they did not have time to get everything done. Stating if I drove home (Brunswick) I would break my car, entirely. Was charged $614 for a full-tune up( Ignition coils and spark plugs). A month later (4.23.19) and I am now spending my day at the Monroe in Fairlawn.. this morning my engine light came back on and car was shaking. Upon investigation, Sean @ Fairlawn informed me that not only did South Arlington location not change my spark plugs, but they also damaged a spark plug pocket. In other words, they did not have proper tools, but attempted anyways. I drive a BMW, everything is expensive, so that is a big no-no. Though Sean is not charging me labor, I still have to pay $240 for parts. The same parts I paid for at S. Arlington.I knew only replacing ignition coils would land me in the very boat I am now in. Richard knew this. Instead of being honest, he chose to let me discover their problem on my own.I would not recommend this location! Fair-lawn isnt too much father from here.

I love Monroe muffler the first time I went there was for an oil change and another garage had told me I needed brakes so I asked them to do those also. They were honest and said the brakes are fine it is hard to be a woman and find a shop that will not say you need things done let alone say that it does not need done, I was shocked .My next visit was for a tire I ran over a nail...but instead of charging me for a new tire, they fixed it for free.My most recent visit was last week for an oil change. I went to the store on s. Arlington Rd. In Akron Ohio. The gentleman working was so nice, professional, and very helpful. I was shocked to find out he was only there a month. I cannot remember his name because I am terrible with names but really hope he gets recognition for being a top notch employee! Thank you Monroe for being there you are the best!!!

I went to get my car aligned and the tires balanced. They didnt test drive it before letting me leave after paying $141.I left and my steering wheel was extremely crooked. I took it back and they said they didnt want to test drive it because I had been waiting for a while and they wanted to get me going.The manager said I had sticking caliper and it might be the reason my car was shaking as well and it would be almost $600 to replace both front brakes and calipers.I got on the highway after that and my car was shaking so bad. I called them back and the manager said I could bring it back YET AGAIN and they could take a look and see if one of the weights fell off to make the tires unbalanced....... For $141, I shouldnt have to take my car back THREE TIMES for them to get it right.I took my car to my local guy and he said my ball joint was bad and thats why it wasnt holding the alignment.I called back to Monro and asked them to explain and he said they didnt see the bad ball joint.They never should have tried to align it with a bad ball joint. And they wont give me my money back.I will never go to any Monro EVER again.

They over charge you for terrible service. I knew when I walked into my appointment that I shouldve chose to go elsewhere when I heard the mechanic on the phone telling what I believe was another customer that they were busy and if they could come in for an oil change the following morning but I was the only customer there for an oil change there were 3 techs one was standing around eating a sandwich, another was working on his own vehicle during work hours but was dressed in street clothing then there was the guy who took my appointment and did my oil change. Over the phone he told me that my oil change would be $24.95 when he was done with my car he had a manager of some sort help him at the computer then all of a sudden my oil change was $39. He completed my oil change in about 10 minutes I appreciated getting in and out but left feeling like he missed something or didnt do a very good job I have never had an oil change dome so quickly. If you can find a more professional setting like Wal-Mart tire & lube.. I would highly suggest you drive the extra mile if you truely love and value your car! At least when Wal-Mart gives you a standard price for an oil change that is exactly how much it will cost!

These people are dishonest!! They put an extra quart of oil in my car without my consent and charged me an additional $15.00. They said that they put pressure in my tires when the light was flashing and the pressure in my car was reading low, 29. They told me that I may need to drive the car a little bit or the sensor is broken for the light to turn off. My car only has less the 7,000 miles on it, its new!! So I took it elsewhere and put more pressure in my tires and the light went off and the pressure was now reading 33. I took my car back to confront them with this and the manager now said, Our gauge might be broken. It has been ran over by cars. Very bad business and dishonest people!!! DO NOT PATRONIZE HERE!!!

Bad customer service and charged for over price! We replaced for brake and they charge me over $800 when They checked they said only $ 100 or so and one day to replace but it took like 10 days to replace the brake. They should have tell me if they cost more and they didn’t say anything . Never ever go back again. Watch out you all...
