This is the worst Walgreens Ive ever experienced and it has zero to do with the employees there. They have good people just nowhere near enough and the pharmacy is overwhelmed always. They need to refuse service or open another Walgreens in Aiken. The corporation is clearly choosing profits over customers and with prescriptions that causes serious problems. Walgreens owes their employees to be better.There is always a five vehicle wait for the pharmacy drive up, only one employee at the register in-store at the pharmacy to handle two lines (and they want you to wait in the standard line even if you have an appointment), they let prescriptions wait for days because they cant catch up, and you have to wait sometimes a half-hour just to talk to someone.Photos are to show cars in line all the way up the side of the building.

I went in to receive my Covid-19 vaccination on 11/02 with my wife. The attending RPH was a KAREN NEWSOM. SHE WAS PLEASANT-ACCOMMOCATING and took her time to explain the process to us. I left there feeling wonderful and attended too. She did a wonderful job!

Worst Customer service! Stood in line for well over 45 minutes to get a flu shot just to finally make it to the counter and they said on we are no longer doing walk-ins. You must schedule an appointment. After the ladies behind us asked before hand where do you stand in line if you need a shot and was told to just stand in the line. 3 people working the pharmacy but 2 people standing around instead of helping the one lady actually working. I will just stick with CVS from now on. Walgreens has went completely downhill.

Being busy is not an excuse. After multiple calls routing me to a call center just to speak to a local pharmacist, transferred, not answered. Being told they would transfer to Publux 3x.....8a-5p. Sitting at Publix. Walgreens has still not done it. Finally speak to someone to be told they are sorry they are very busy??? So only if you stand in line for hours like I did yesterday and is why I am transferring....Do you get waited on??? If you call .... they get to it whenever??Not happy.

I had an appointment and sat in line for 2 hours. Absolutely ridiculous.I have never had this issue at any Walgreens in other towns.I will not be back.

It took six hours after two prescriptions were to be ready in 30 minutes for them to be ready. Employee offered no apology simply sad “we are backed up”. The slowest drive-thru/ inside pharmacy with the worse service like how do you only have 2 people working the pharmacy when you have a drive thru like McDonald’s wrapped around the building and long lines on the inside? I’m calling my insurance to see if they can change my pharmacy because thud is ridiculous and I HATE THIS LOCATION‼️‼️

Always have to wait in a long line at the pharmacy. It’s almost seems like the focus is on the drive-thru, not customers in the store. 3 cars go through and only 1 customer in the store gets checked out. It’s not poorly managed or unprofessional, just under staffed.

We have used this pharmacy for years. At times they have been fairly good at refilling prescriptions on time and at managing long lines at pharmacy. Other times they are way less than stellar. I know things happen sometimes that can’t be controlled, but recently the way they have treated me and my physician is alarming and appalling. Yesterday my doctor tried three times to call in a prescription for me and each time they put him, or whoever was doing the calling for him, on hold for 10 to 15 minutes then hung up on him. I have had this same thing happen to me several times. I finally had to drive back to my doctor’s office to pick up a written prescription and then take it to the pharmacy. My visit to WG pharmacy prior to this was the most frustrating and disappointing experience I think I have had with them. My doctor had given me a coupon to purchase 10 Brevaly tablets (6 refills) for $10 instead of the normal price of more than $1000 for 10 pills. The first time I picked it up there was no problem. 10 pills for $10. The second time I went to pick up Brevaly I was told 5 different reasons I could not use the coupon and get the discount. Each time I went to attempt to get the prescription I was told to bring back “a different polished turd” so to speak. My doctor’s office told me that patients with my insurance use this same coupon in Augusta at WG all the time. I called the drug manufacturing company. Same answer from them. The fifth visit to WG to get Brevaly I was armed with the knowledge that they could find a way to make this happen. Pharmacist called number on back of Brevaly discount card and like magic I was able to pay 10 for 10. Why did I have to make 5 visits to get this prescription and why did 3 people give me 5 different reasons it could not be done!?? Why didn’t they just call the company who provided the coupon in the first place. I am switching to Publix. Anywhere has to be better than this.

Very unprofessional people working in the pharmacy here. No wonder all the Walgreens are going out of business. We told them to send the prescription to kroger. Never again Walgreens. These people need better schooling and better management.

God bless the people working retail! They are so poorly understaffed, as most, are it takes forever to get medicine! I can see the over worked underpaid exhaustion in their eyes. The employees do the best they can but could corporate give them enough to be successful? That’s a clear hell no today!

5-stars for the staff here.-100000000000000 stars for Walgreens corporate for understaffing they pharmacy. This is an embarrassment. It should take 1.5 hours of waiting in line to pick up medications. Capacity planning is easy: bring on more staff or have a second location.

Do us all a favor folks. Save your time and money go to CVS.For years I have used Walgreens to get my syringes over the counter. I usually go through the drive thru to save myself time because we all know how quickly as a diabetic needs their supplies. Instead they inform that I have to come in to purchase them.Why? I can provide just as much as I could to show I need them as I can from my car or is it Walgreens needs to profile their customers? Switching pharmacies today. Im a diabetic on short time. I dont have time for their terrible customer service with their long lines to get my life saving meds.

Extremely poor customer service on many occasions! Weve been called to let us know that our prescriptions were ready only to get to the store to find that they had not been filled yet. Weve been charged the wrong price on prescriptions. They have lost records of prescriptions. They are not very helpful or friendly and do not seem to care when you say so. Bottom line-- my husband and I transferred our prescriptions to the Target CVS where we receive excellent, friendly customer service.

Horrible customer service, dropped off script at noon and they told me it would be ready after 4:00. We’ll it’s after 7:00 and still not ready with only about 5 customers in the last 30 minutes. Need to find another pharmacy

This is the worst Pharmacy I ever have been too. No customer service. I drop off a prescription and was told to pick up in the afternoon. I came back only to find a problem and nobody bothered to take one minute to call me toe let me know there was a problem. Then the pharmacist would not even take one second to come over and talk to me. The place is run down. NEVER EVER WILL I STEP ONE FOOT INTO THIS PLACE AGAIN. Now I know why everyone called in sick. Yes I overheard.

For pharmacy the window is the quickest. Other than that StePHen is the guy you wanna work with. Today he helped me not buy my meds twice, take a passport photo, got me an iPhone cord so I could print more pictures, got me so printer ink off the wall and checked me out all while helping the other customers and stocking the shelves. Would totally give him a raise if he was my employee.

Decided to use Walgreens as my local pharmacy as a new resident of the area. Lasik place called in my prescription, which I decided to pick up after work so that the traffic was less. Drove up to drivethrough. Big sign NO PHARMACIST ON DUTY. Say what? Went inside and apparently they are understaffed in the pharmacy. Cant pick up my meds that I need to start 4 times a day tomorrow morning until tomorrow after work. Guess I will have to try lunch time or go in late to work. Thanks Walgreens! Going to try Kroger.
