I experienced outstanding customer service from the moment I walked in the store...Marissa and Brandy saved the day after I stepped on my husbands glasses. They figured out an ingenious repair and had him seeing again. So extremely helpful, as we were visitors from out of state, in Aiken just for the day. Thank you both! Thank you LensCrafters.

I only used this location to purchase glasses, not for an eye exam.The parking lot is large enough and there was plenty of room to park at the store. However, the lot is shared with many other stores in the shopping center so when I went it was fairly crowded even though there were not many people in the store.The store has a large selection of name brand frames. There arent many budget frames, and if you do not have vision insurance, lenses could get expensive. Most frames are in the $150+ range.The store is newly renovated so there is a lot of open space and modern display cases. It was hard to find a mirror because they were so well integrated into the design of the cases! This also means that there are electronic ad boards around the store. Those can be a little disconcerting if you arent expecting them.The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I was helped by Chris and she was very accommodating and answered all my questions. Be aware, the process for purchasing frames includes taking measurements and putting in plenty of information to their system. It is not a quick 5 minute check out, so just be prepared to spend a little time with a sales associate. This also means if you come in during a busy time, it might be a while before someone can help you.Overall a great store and the new location and modern design are wonderful!

I recently had an eye exam at the Clyburn Center by the wonderful Dr. Fulford. Best eye exam ever. Went to a facility on Richland Ave in Aiken and felt very unwelcomed. A co worker suggested that I go to Lens Crafters. So i did. I walked through the door and was greeted by a lovely young woman. I told her what I was looking for and she showed me where to look for what I wanted. I then was greeted by Lisa. She was excellent and gave me everything I needed. I was shocked at the price but by the end of my visit, I got everything I needed.Lisa introduced me to the manager of the storeand she too was a breath of fresh air. They wore mask and sanitized after every use of frames. I am happy that great customer service is not a thing of the past.

Lisa was incredibly patient as I tried to find glasses and sunglasses after buying my last pairs over twenty years ago! Her expertise and kindness wont soon be forgotten. All the rest of the staff were also amazing!

The staff at LensCrafters in Aiken, SC are wonderful. They went above and beyond today to help me with my glasses that had a defect. I am so happy that they resolved my problem. They are the best and this where I will always go for my eyeglasses.

What a great store this LensCrafters is! There are so many brands of glasses, and many brands of designer glasses. The store is organized and very clean. The prices are very reasonable, and there were also sale items. The associate that I worked with was personable, knowledgeable and efficient. Great store, so happy theyre in Aiken!

When you set an appointment you should be seen the time you’re scheduled for. I can understand 5 minutes late but an hour & longer is uncalled for. Horrible.

Bought ray-ban glasses from them in may. There is a defect in the lenses. They are spidering from the corner.took them back to lenscrafters explained the issue and was told too bad. What kind of customer service is that. They sell a defective lense and then wont even fix it unless I pay out of pocket for new lenses. I do not recommend them at this point. They clearly do not back their product despite clearly seeing it was a lense defect.Update.... After being contacted below with customer care info they were even less helpful then the in store rep. They tell you they will review the case but then send a cookie cutter corporate email blowing you off as if your business doesnt matter

First I did not receive notification that my order was ready. I had to contact them myself. While waiting to pick up said glasses other customers were serviced prior to me until I spoke up.

Very POOR communication by staff. Waited 3 weeks for new lens to come in. When they finally did came to pic up to find out only manager can install them. He want be in until later no one knows when that will be. Live about 45 minutes away but not their problem.

Absolutely the worst Eye Doctor I have ever seen. I’ve been getting my eyes checked annually for over 25 years and this is the first time I’ve had a Doctor tell me I am wrong when it comes to what I see. I waited almost an hour past my appointment time to see the doctor which also included multiple hipaa violations. Seeing patients with the exam room door open so everyone in the waiting room can hear and see what is going on. My appointment was Interrupted by the receptionist who came in and discussed another patients history and prescriptions directly in front of me. There was also a stack of patient records (not in folders) laying on the exam room floor. I will be filing a complaint with Hipaa next. Took the appointment because of availability and will not wait to see a professional.

My first time at Lenscrafters experience was good. Everyone was helpful, even Jermane. Jermane was knowledgeable and helpful at the same time. My 7 year old had an appointment for 10:30am and we didnt leave until around 1:30pm. (August 2020) I am highly disappointed in the long wait time. He had to get his eyes dilated twice. I am dreading to pick up his glasses and I definitely DO NOT recommend going here and we will return.

Jermane who aided me in frame selection and then worked through the complex communication with my insurance provider (which seems to be an all too common aspect of modern life) was expert in all of these areas. He was on the level of the kind of guide one would want at their side on a safari into an area fraught with danger. He was calm and persistent throughout. I was thoroughly pleased with the entire transaction.02/16/2021 Your Aiken, SC store is busy each time I go and every one, like me are having a good time. It is a happy scene. I believe this atmosphere is founded in that we customers are confident that we are and will be well taken care of in an inviting, sunny environment. It’s your knowledgeable, obviously caring people that make your business sing.

Took 3 hours to be seen by the doctor with an appointment, got a prescription, had $200 glasses ready to purchase and left with no glasses because we still had to wait. Horrible service.

Even though we are living in turbulent times, every employee was happy to assist and practicing all social precautions to prevent the spread of this horrible virus. The professionalism and friendliness is outstanding and if Dr. Wu ever leaves, I will leave also.

I had an appointment Friday, I was running behind and Carrie confirmed they would still see me. So time we get in my 3 week old starts fussing because hes hungry and I do breastfeed so I was trying to keep him calm while pre screening and that wasnt working he was ready to eat right then! So I let her know I would just reschedule I was upset and felt defeated, she immediately asked did I need somewhere to nurse and she made it her business to find me a place. It seemed to be storage room but it was clean, cool, and perfect for us we had no complaints he ate we were relaxed and finished up. When I left out she asked did I still want to be seen and Doctor Wu still saw me and through out my time there Carrie, the LensCrafters staff , and Dr Wu made me feel so welcomed and repeatedly asked if I needed help if they told me my visit was $300 I would of gave it up no questions asked Thank You Thank you all so much !!!

Great experience. Once they got to me, they were very fast. The eye doctor was friendly, my pre-exam was super quick. The cashier Lisa is the absolute best, she goes over everything before you purchase anything. Wonderful experience. Will be back next year! I would recommend coming in the morning if you can.

Friendly service. Terrible wait time on glasses. Was told one week. Then told slight delay, will be done in 4 days. 4 days later told no it will be another week. So still dont have the glasses yet. I guess well see, but pretty sure Ill be told another excuse when that time comes around. And they refuse to give a refund or anything compensation. Will definitely never go here again.

I used this location for my eye exams and regular glasses in the past. I needed a pair of perscription sunglasses. I stood around in the store for 45 minutes for almost my entire lunch hour. Judging from my latest experience and the other comments, this store must love losing money.I wasnt greeted or spoken to when I walked in. I paruse their stock. I use my time to pick out a pair of frames for my prescription sunglasses while I wait for the next available rep. About 3 other customers cut in front of me saying, Oh I need to just pick up my glasses. Your reps were eager to help them. Still havent been spoken to. I go up to and speak to an associate. I was basically ignored.Finally someone came out the back, I tell her what I need. She takes the frames I pick, walks to the back. Then she comes back immediately and explains to me that the eye exam office is on lunch and she cant help me at all, place an order, take my contact info... nothing... even after I suggested the latter. I felt as if I was a huge inconvenience as opposed to a paying customer.Thanks so much for wasting my time. You just lost a loyal customer.

Christine, the Lenscrafters rep, worked with me the through every step of the process - even how to use my progressive lens bifocals. My new glasses feel great, and most importantly, its great to see clearly again.

One of your employees told me that my Davis Insurance wasn’t honored by LensCrafters. So I had to call my FEP Blue Vision Plan and get that straightened out.m

I walked around inside the store for 20 minutes exactly looking at glasses and trying them on. Only one associate was helping a customer and NOT A SINGLE ASSOCIATE addressed me or asked if they could help me. Today you lost a customer for life. I came to spend money in your establishment but I will be going elsewhere. Every time I go in there I leave disappointed but today was the final straw.

Being new to the area, I went to LensCrafters when I broke the arm on my glasses. Had my first eye exam in 3 years and Im glad I did! All were professional, courteous and helpful and the eye exam showed what I need to do to keep my eyes healthy! Will be a regular customer now!

I had to put a star but doesnt deserve anything. The first exam the doctor didnt tell me i mighy possibly have glaucoma and had to get paperwork filled out for Dr. WU to tell me of i needed further testing. So if i never came back i never would of know. She was supposed to fill out paperwork for my job due to an eye stigma for me to have to come on 3 times to get the run around to then find out she never sent it. Worst exp ever. Dont waste your time here. They obviously dont do throw eye exams to wast your time and money

I would not recommend Dr. Wu. She rushed through the exam VERY FAST because they were busy. When I asked her to go back to another slide, she told me I needed to pay attention. Then she told me I needed to eat more fruits and veggies. Really? I wasnt there for a nutritional consultation. Also, the store was very sale-sy and was trying to get me to buy my glasses with all the bells and whistles on them without telling me they had all the bells and whistles. Made me think I HAD to have all the premium features on my glasses. Proceed with caution with this place.

From day one bad experience. Pretty patient so husband had appt at 11 and mine was 2 we had lunch. I waited around no worries. But then when i was there for appt stil another hour. But 2 months later still no contacts but the front staff did finally try

Four years ago I purchased a pair of glasses from LensCrafters in Aiken and the prescription came in wrong and took almost 3 weeks from time of order to receiving the correct pair of glasses. A couple of weeks ago I gave LensCrafters in Aiken another chance and order more glasses. Well when I went to pick them up, you got it, they had the prescription wrong again, and I will have to wait another 10 days for the new glasses. The sales person treated this like an everyday occurrence, I will never buy from them again.

Staff was extremely friendly,and even took the time to sort my insurance,they helped me find the perfect frame for my face,and taste. All in all very pleasant experience.

Dr Wu did my last eye exam. I think she found her doctorate in a Cracker Jack box. My experience was awful, I had to make two visits to complete my eyeglass and contact lens exam. She was very rude when I told her I couldnt understand what she was saying. Very clueless lady, I dont recommend anyone giving your business to this particular location.

Only one star because I cant give less.I was very affended when I went in for my appt today. I dont usually give bad reviews, but this was beyond the worst experience I have ever had. The receptionist was very rude and was cussing. She was upset that they taught her one way and had her doing it another. She was telling me that she may not even come back from lunch. and that she cant do this f@#%ing s#@t. I will never go back.

My eye exam was okay even though I had to wait an hour. My biggest concern was the glasses. I was vebally told that it would be 10 days. My son that went the same day got his in 9. I was verbally told the 15th. When I went to get my sons I was then told the 19th. I called on the 19th (was put on hold and forgotten, I had to call back) and was told the 23rd. I called today (the clerk today me they would call and check on the delay and call me back, they never did) and was told it would be the 26th (11 days after the original promise date). They need to understand that when you pay 1000 dollars for glasses it is not okay to continually change dates with no notification and failure to follow up. After this experience I will never use these guys again. My entire family wears glasses so that is close to 4000 dollars in lost revenue.

Dr. Wu is very thorough and explains procedures well. She is kind, caring and efficient and truly cares for her patients.

Didn’t have a good experience tried to get contacts from November 2017 til March 2018 they ask me to try many pairs but they never got it right also it was hard to get them on the phone until I stopped using my caller ID
