Went in today to pick up the final pieces of china from our daughter’s wedding registry at Plum Pudding. It was a pleasure watching them work as a team to attend to all of their client’s...and their were a lot! Top notch service! Unique regional selections and I would recommend them to anyone local or those just visiting Aiken.

This is a really cool kitchen store. It has lots of interesting and unique kitchen devices and tools. A very large selection of cookie cutters, also. They have some interesting, local treats that I look forward to trying out. It’s definitely worth checking out.

Such a wonderful store for buying something special for that special someone this Christmas. They have a variety of top of the line kitchenware, wonderful gourmet ingredients, a fantastic wine section and coffees from around the world. Their knowledgeable staff is always available to help and the owner is on site daily. It is comforting to know that they are especially careful to wear masks and they go to great lengths to protect their customers. One of the few places in town that I will shop during this season. Very supportive of the Aiken mask ordinance.

I have been shopping at Plum Pudding for over 30 years. They have the most incredible inventory of unique and useful kitchen wares. Their gourmet food items change seasonally and I always look forward to their Carolina Christmas Coffee. Plum Pudding also supports our Community by sourcing items from local vendors. The staff is pleasant and eager to help you find the perfect gift item. Wrapping is complimentary. The owners have made every effort to be welcoming and maintain compliance with our local mask ordinance making it a safe place to shop in Aiken.

Great shop with varied gourmet wares. Awesome place to let kids pick out a cookie cutter as a treat and not break the bank (never more than a dollar or two per cookie cutter) and get a needed microplane or cookie scoop to fill a gap in the utensil drawer. Also a great place to get Smithey cast iron locally!

Plum Pudding is a ICON in the Aiken and surrounding area and been in business for 43 years. Michael provides personalized service and the items they offer are amazing. Shopping there brings back memories with my Mother and this store still provides a down home personal shopping experience. With a Pandemic that is happening in the world that has killed several of close relatives and friends, 1 who is in the hospital right now and me being at risk I am hesitate to shop at a lot of places. I am so thankful this store is taking it seriously and requires his employees and patrons to wear a mask. And who wouldnt want to buy some Liquor Ice Cream, An artisan ice cream company that Michael carries in his store PROOF is changing the way people think about dessert. Bourbon Caramel , Coconut Rum, to name a few they offer. If you are looking for something for that hard to please person who loves to cook that likes tradition or different Plum Pudding is the Go to Place. I could spend hours in this store

Plum Pudding is more than a landmark retailer in downtown Aiken. Plum Pudding is a treasure of culinary merchandise, standout gifts, and a cache of delight. I have a special place in my heart for Plum Pudding as their beautiful facade greeted me on my first evening in Aiken. The warmth of the facade and the plethora of merchandise displayed in their windows assured me that I was welcome in this little town and in Plum Pudding. I adore their cooking classes and their chef supplies.

I have lived in Aiken for more than 10 years and ALWAYS found the people in this store very friendly and willing to help! In these times of Covid - I share that this is one of the FEW stores where I feel safe shopping. They require masks [which tells me they actually CARE about their customers], sanitize pens for signatures, and the store itself is very very clean. The owner has bent over backwards to keep EVERYONE safe while supplying some really nice products to purchase! A strong FIVE STAR !!!!

I see negative reviews and cant help but to think this is an ad hominem attack about masks being required to shop there.But if youre looking for a review based in the stores quality and substance this is it. The selection variety and product is second to none and I find it extremely hard to believe that anyone could venture into this store and not find something that speaks directly to them.The staff has always been quite knowledgeable and courteous so to see people say otherwise is quite unbelievable.The availability of online shopping is quite excellent too.

What an awesome store!!! They not only have amazing dishes and high end items, but they have a slew of small gift items for the major foodie in your life. From gourmet salts to cocktail napkins and everything in between. They also carry a wide variety of delicious pantry items that always make me salivate. On top of all of that, they care about each other and us by having a mandatory face mask policy, which they will enforce making it so safe to be in their store. Yay!!! Way to go.

Im happy to have a place in Aiken that cares for its customers and employees. Any reviews that say otherwise are wrong and dont know what they are talking about. They make reasonable accomodations that are required of them for people that cant wear masks, which includes curbside service. Anyone who has actually read the ADA rules would actually know that a private business does not have to let you in if you cant wear a mask, they only have to provide curbside service, which is more than reasonable.Oh, and they have alcoholic ice cream that is delicious!!

“The woman” who was allegedly treated so poorly is not being completely honest about the situation! There is a sign , CLEAR AS DAY, in the window that states you must wear a mask! This is a small business and BRAVO to the owner for looking out for their considerate customers and their own families! I suggest people read signs that notify you of regulations put forth by business owners who care to follow CITY ORDINANCES!
