I was greeted by staff as I entered the store. The coffee shop was closed along with the rest of the mall for the exception of a few businesses. The store was well stocked and had alot of different books, toys, genres to choose from. The bathrooms were clean, and It was a quiet setting.

The location is kind of peculiar however the store has a great selection and variety of genres in stock. There was a huge closed off section with a big black trash can in the middle which was apparently catching water from a leaking roof which was an eye sore. Otherwise the store was neat and clean and the staff was very friendly

Still no coffee at the moment, but other than that it is a great place with nice people. Huge selection of magazines, which surprised me.

Great book selection and often great deals and sales. They are pretty much the only store left in/at the Aiken Mall. And that is okay with me as it was/is the best. It is more than worth the drive from Augusta because sometimes they will have books that Barnes & Noble just doesnt. Also the staff is incredibly helpful. I have never had any problems with Customer Service there, and that is a big thing for me.

Young man, Peter, from Aiken, was so helpful when my battery died and he jumped it off so I could get home. Wonderful customer service seems to be a dying art but this young went the extra to get me home. Thank you Peter of Aiken. Diann

Huge sale on some hardcover classics. I am a happy bibliophile.

This big store serves this small town very well. I am not interested in some of the items they carry and am somewhat shocked by what is available, but on the other hand they carry what I am looking for all at the same time. Very helpful staff.

The employees here were fast and helpful. The deals are great here, I snagged a large hardcover marked down almost half the price it was in Barnes and nobles.They also have a two for three deal that saved us a lot of money not to mention an extensive comic and manga selection. (Those are harder to find deals on however)They also have a couple of adult games and knick knacks towards the check out line, but the line moved fast enough so you wont have to prepare yourself for the average book store line. One where you stand and stare blankly at cheap bobbleheads and Harry Potter themed everything.This place is nice, come stock up.

I love this place Ive grown up in Aiken and Ive grown up through this store, do wish the mall was open but just that store is enough to fill me with nostalgia

Customer service is always amazing and today(05/25/2019) their manager and staff went above and beyond. My wife left her wallet and we had to drive back from Augusta. Upon arrive the manager came out and apologized and offered us some frozen drinks from their cafe to cool down!!! WE LOVE THIS LOCATION!!! Thank you Books-A-Million!!

Ive always had good experiences here even when I didnt find what I was looking for. The staff here has always been helpful and easy to talk to when on my search for a book. Have returned here so many times and continue to do so.

Yes, they are open! The store is fully stocked with the lastest titles and best-selling ones from the past. More than books here too. Lots of interesting things to browse. Store is merchandised well and the staff is very friendly and ready to help. No need to drive anywhere for books. BAM has them all here in Aiken.

Im so glad this gem of a store is still around at the mall. If the mall ever goes anywhere, I really hope they find a way to remain in Aiken. Ill be sad if it ever closes, theres no other place for books, magazines, pop culture stuff, coffee and chill.

The last bastion of reading in Aiken County. Great choice of books and very mindful staff. I really hope they stick around for as long as possible, great prices on classics for people who have required reading, and a great selection of board games and tabletop RPGs as well as accessories for them.

I love this place. I went to replace a book that got destroyed in storage, and this one woman went and found a copy for me since it wasnt on the shelf. She then recommended a great book to me, which so far I am loving. I love the staff here, this place has everything you could need.

My daughter returned some gifts she received from Christmas. The lady at the desk was very helpful and kind. She even let my daughter choose her own giftcard to put the credit on - this is a big deal for an 8 year old! We were extremely happy with our visit!

And despite whats happening to the Mall, they are staying to provide us that communication platform that connects the whole world.....the written language.

Service is always the best, everyone is super friendly and helpful, the only reason its 4 stars and not 5 is because a lot of times there is no one at the coffee bar in the back. Otherwise, great store.

Been awhile since Ive been inside, but it has a terrific selection of reading material and board games for purchase. You also can purchase coffee there in their Cafe. Dont remember if you can purchase food there. They have several quiet areas where you can browse reading material.The only thing I dont like about BAM is when you buy they try to sell you a membership in their book club and subscriptions to magazines.

In love with this store. Im a regular customer here. I never spend less than an hour in this store. Amazing in store collection, staff is great. If i cant find what im looking for the staff finds it or orders it for me.

Love shopping at any physical bookstore, whether it be a big box store (such as B.A.M) or a local family owned business. I only bought two items, the pound of dice by Chessex and a puzzle box by Project Genius. Was disappointed in the Project Genius puzzle box we bought but that is no fault of B.A.M. it was a beautiful puzzle box, just way too easy to open.

Books-A-Million is a hangout spot it has a coffee shop that sells overpriced coffees and beverages and you can even get danishes. They always have the Wall Street Journal and the local paper as well everyday. People are always nice and they dont mind if you just come in there to read books. The internet does not work because it doesnt have a good firewall but other than that its a great place for a Sunday afternoon

Something for everyone!

I quite like it, Im a big reader, and that card is useful. Ive seen worse prices on books, so Im not too worried about it, and I prefer brick-and-mortar stores to buying books online. Also, the people that make coffee there, are pretty dope, pretty nice people.

Smaller selection but great customer service

As of this review Books-A-Million is located in the Aiken Mall which has been close for while now. I love going to this place to get the most recent books, look at all the geek merchandise, and maybe even grabbing a coffee. Everyone should throw this store some business because it has to be struggling in an abandoned mall.

I love books and they have everything and if they dont theyll get it for you.

Had a pretty good experience, the selection of merchandise is pretty nice. A few of the workers could be a bit overbearing at times, but overall i couldnt really complain

I do mospt of my reading on my kindle but we are going to the beach and i wanted a real book for that. I found a book from a series im reading on the 5 dollar cart outside the door. I was thrilled. Found a few others i want to read. I love that they have a coffee shop inside and places to sit and read and use wifi. I would go there more often if it was closer to my home.

The staff can be a little pushy or nosy @ times, but they always help me if I ask, so but im glad its there! They carry some magazines for very specialized interests that I cant find anywhere else,& I can spend hours in there without realizing Im probably late again!

My kids absolutley love STORY TIME here. The guy who does it changes his voice for each character and is really good.

My father and I went in here just to look at the manga section of the store. We spent probably an hour in ther just looking at the different mangas and seeing if we could find the manga for the anime we watch. We ended up finding quite a few we recognized and looked through them for a while. We didnt end up buying anything, but the cashier still politely told us to have a nice day. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. If you love reading, there are plenty of books, magazines, and manga here, plus some small toys and stuffed animals and things like that.
