My first time there and it was great. Beautiful options everywhere. I liked the walking paths through the plants, you almost forget where you are. The gentleman who helped me was very nice. He is currently the only one working there. He helped me load up my plants and soil. I will be back again for sure!

Outstanding selection of all types of plants, shrubs and trees. Their plants are well cared (healthy and virbant) while waiting for purchase. Ive found my new nursery.

I bought a tall house plant and container, spent well over $200. After a few months I noticed it wasn’t doing well, and I’m someone with the opposite of a green thumb, so I took a photo and a leaf that had fallen off the plant and went to back to ask what to do.The nursery was rather busy, so no one acknowledged me for several minutes. After standing around the owner saw me and asked “What do you want?” I showed him the photo and the leaf and he said, “too dark too much water.” That’s it. Then he walked away. Since the plant was in a sunny location and the leaves were turning brown I thought it was getting too much light so I asked again, “it needs more light?” He was walking away and kept walking. He said over his shoulder, “yes.”So I moved the plant. We’ll see what happens. I had planned on buying planting soil for a lemon tree, but I was so completely dismissed I didn’t.Beautiful plants can be found here, but customer service? Not so much.

Finally checked this place out. Waste of time. Indoor plant selection is pretty small, but the main reason I left so soon was because no matter what area I went to look, the man working was STARING at me the whole time. He literally moved around with me and just stared and watched me. I was so uncomfortable, I left without saying anything. Who does that?!

Wonderful selection of plants shrubs and small trees and a wealth of information! Any questions I have are eagerly answered in detail! The guys really know their stuff and are extremely helpful in choosing exactly the best things for me. I get my herbs and vegetables there every year and they are fantastic the flowers Ive gotten from there have had wonderful longevity and grow beautifully. Called to ask if they had a plant I want. They just hung up on me though.

RACIST. This was a horrifying experience. If you are a person of color or against racism do not patronize this establishment!!! The heavy set man in the front was staring at my partner and I from the moment we got there. We walked in at the same time as two other couples (who were white folks) and yet the one employee in the garden who was a younger Hispanic man was obviously sent to follow us. He literally followed us around the whole nursery. I was friendly and said hello and he continued to tail us. The heavy set man was watching us from afar we could feel eyes on us at all times. As we were leaving they were glaring until we literally pulled out of the driveway.We love supporting small businesses which is why we chose to drive all the way to Agoura to come to a small garden store instead of going to Armstrong in TO which is 2 minutes from our house. We will NEVER come here or give them our money. I wish I could give zero stars.

I love coming to colorful garden. I have been pretty consistent for about 8 months now. The owner is a nice man, and always willing to answer my 101 questions. Very rustic and right up my alley for almost any kind of plant. Happy I found this little gem!

Extremely knowledgeable and the plants are really healthy. Prices on the high end but, you do get bigger and healthier plant material. As a landscaper I dont hesitate buying from him when I need something to stand out!

Pretty good experience with the owner who is friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are a little high but it is a small business. Although the DIY center up the street is a little less they dont have nearly as many options.

This is a great nursery. I have been here several times in the last few months. Really is a beautiful place. They have a great selection and now they have live Christmas trees for the season which was really great. I was impressed by the house plants that they currently have for sale, healthy, green and mature. Bharat, the owner, and his team do a great job!

Owners should allow the trapping of rabbits for the workers to take home and eat. Very disturbing they will never get my business.Cant believe we saw this let alone them telling us it was for food, SO MAD.

Beautiful plants but very pricey

I own a small landscaping company here in the Conejo Valley and I have used these guys in the past, and the service hasnt been anything to write home to mom about. But today they went out of their way to be rude. I called in to get a quote on a couple of plants but because I only needed one or two the guy wouldnt go out and actually check the prices. So he made up a price and said about $xx.xx. And I said about? Could you please check so I can quote my customer properly? His reply was no, we dont go check prices if you only want 1 or 2... Needless to say I would rather pay Armstrongs prices then give this place any of our business going forward.

I havent been there in about 3 years. The people there always seem in a bad mood. That hasnt changed. Prices are a little higher than other nurseries.

Bought the product for two reasons.

All our plants and flowers we buy only in this garden center. A wide variety of plants, reasonable prices.
