Worst experience ever,I bought some items at this auction, never, ever again.First the pictures were absolutely deceiving. A table that I bought had so many picture on their web site (8), none of them showed it was very damaged. Compare the pictures they posted with the reality (last 4 pictures).To top all this the address was wrong, and a very rude woman came chasing me out to my car, menacing me that I would be fine 100 dollars if I left something on the site, when I wasnt even finished going downstairs to load my items. Avoid these people. Its a scam.

I spent a fortune on a set of Wedgwood dinnerware set. I live 5 min away from the pickup place. When I got home I saw a chip in one of the cups. If you look at picture you will see it’s not a new chip. I immediately contacted Tyler Grace. I didn’t check every piece when I picked up because I thought I was buying from an auction house and I am paying them a high fee for quality control. And there weren’t pictures for every cup and plates on the auction listing. They were very rude and basically told me- too bad, they take no responsibility. Completely unexpected from an auction house. I have done business with many auction house and never had such a bad experience. Hopefully this helps future customers.

Ive been doing online auctioning for 7 years. Just recently I started bidding on items I needed shipped, that I could not pick up, nor could pass Great deals on! Out of all the online auctioneers I have dealt with, in the past 3 months, Tyler Grace is by far the best! I buy from online auctions all the time. Mostly from Hibid, the most incredibly well thought out platform imaginable. But not all houses respond the way Tyler Grace does. Invoice immediately. You can get some really great deals from Tyler Grace Auctions and the online auction process is really easy but be careful. The pictures they take of the items for sale can be very misleading and you may not be able to pick up the items you have won. For one auction I went to pick up some picture frames and a vintage bowl. The workers who were helping me with my stuff had accidentally given the picture frames to someone else. She said that I could be refunded or they could call the person who had them to bring them back. I didnt want to inconvenience someone else over a $2 box of picture frames so I just accepted the refund. The vintage bowl had many stained chips in the glaze that I didnt recall seeing in the pictures. When I went home I checked the photos that were posted and compared them to the true condition of the bowl. The damage to the inside of the bowl was covered up by the photographers hand (as pictured below). At first I thought the hand in the photo was just for a size comparison but now it seems intentionally placed to cover up the damage. I sent a message about my concerns to the seller four days ago but havent had any reply. I know that nothing from an estate sale auction will be in perfect condition but in this case it seems that the seller went out of the way to hide the damage. I probably would have still bid on the item if the pictures were honest but I certainly wouldnt have bid $21 for a bowl with that kind of damage. The first and third picture are ones I took, the second one is the sellers picture.Edit: I changed my rating from 2 stars to 1 because of the disrespectful reply from the owner. Unsurprisingly, I have been blocked from making any future bids. I have uploaded the other 3 pictures that the owner is accusing me of leaving out they show primarily the outside and bottom and show none of the damage to the bottom, inside of the bowl. This is why is didnt include them at first because I have no complaints about the condition of the outside. I also want to point out that I tried to remedy this by messaging management four days prior to writing my review. I gave the owners an opportunity to talk with me about my concerns but they chose to ignore my message.Pictured below are:1. My picture of the inside the bowl2. Purposefully deceitful / fraudulent.Read their registered to bid message. Youll ask yourself why they need to be so aggressive and defensive. Then do business with them and find out. While I had good experiences with pickup at the central location, I had terrible experiences with the in-home estate sales.This last one - one lot wasnt even there. When I finally asked about it, I was told that the owners took it. The house wreaked of ammonia and was covered in hair, urine, and feces. Auctioned items were soaked in cat urine. Everything from the house had a yellow greasy/slimey slick on it.Attached: one of the rooms the things I bid on were in. The floor was saturated with urine, feces, and what looked like blood.Take a look at the zoomed in shots. The blankets I won were not only covered in cat hair, but feces from insects, tho from fleas or cockroaches, I dont know. Magazines and papers and totes were urine-stained. While I understand the as is/where is policy, bidders still bid in good faith of 2 things: that what they are buying is not a health hazard and that they are useable in some way. After selling me urine-soaked, cat-hair covered items and some of the items being MIA, I fully expected given Amandas maturity level to not get reimbursed for the items or the 18% buying premium, but I was not refunded for the items that the owners took, and charged 100$ for leaving behind things that would have had me dying in my car. I am allergic to cats. THIS IS FRAUD. I am taking this up with the credit card company, the BBB, and HiBid.Re: owners reply:I was on site and have 1st hand experience with what happened. When I arrived both nights, items were not prepared, even tho advanced notice was given. Night 1 - The 5.15 is per text (see image); I ended up getting there before then; my GPS confirms this. I worked with the homeowner to disconnect the electric to a hanging light. I then chatted with him for about an hour - I was not aware of any requirement of the auction person needing to remain - about his experiences in China, Japan, and Europe. We talked about his company, his trips abroad, his recommendations on where to go. He was absolutely fascinating to talk with. Had someone told me that the girl from TG couldnt leave until I did, I would have wrapped up the conversation and left, but no one did.Night 2 - I had to go through this disgusting house to find the items. The things in trash bags are actually won lots also left behind.There were 2 employees on site, and they made a point of not helping me. I struggled with a table for literally 45 minutes while they made fun of me. Insulting, abrasive, but at that point, what do you do you but try to get through it? Another bidder helped me, but her arms immediately broke out in a rash - shes more allergic to cats that I am - and left. One of the girls on site actually laughed at her. It was such a bizarre, hateful response that I decided to say as little to them as possible. They eventually threw everything out in the yard. Instead of going through it to determine what was salvageable, it was all tossed out, then they went into the house and closed and locked the door.I believe, given the business owners response to legitimate complaints of deceptive and fraudulent activities consisting of name calling, combined with previous reviews of this company and BBB profile, that a reader can determine what to expect in any future dealings.As to retaliating, why in the world would I give money to a company that just sold me a bunch of urine soaked, feces covered items? I would never, in a million years, do business with this company again. Most mature adults arent motivated by vindictive behavior; it doesnt even cross their minds. I am simply warning others so that they dont have to experience what I went through. I would not wish what I encountered on anyone just trying to do some fun online bidding.As to the pictures, they were not cherry picked as stated. This was 1 room; if this room looked like this, what do you think the other rooms looked like?

Overall it has been a positive experience, I’ve only had maybe two items where I wished I didn’t bid high on if there was close inspection and documentation/pics (Michele Deco watch serial number probably scratched off by initial owners) but won’t hold them accountable hence my five stars😊. I have went to several of Tyler Grace estate sales and they are one of the best. Things are priced right and things are put out where you can easily see what is for sale.

I recently found this website often an I am an amateur Vintage collector. I have purchased several times from this company and do recommend them. They have great auctions. Before leaving a company a bad review, make sure you give them a chance to remedy it or you are just being a jerk and pulling bread off their dinner table.

This probably has to be the best Auction company I have ever been to. Their staff is personable and welcoming, they always have tons of new items to auction weekly. I see things online and in person that I have never seen before regardless of how many times I go in to preview. I HIGHLY recommend going to their location in Addison to preview whats coming up next. They offer shipping and are super reasonable on allowing later pickups if you let them know ahead of time. I have yet to meet another local auction company who could compete with their collectibles and coins. I havent been able to find a more affordable way to find beautifully kept and high end crystal, furniture, and jewelry. I seriously wouldnt look anywhere else. These guys are legit.

I have bought from their online auctions a few times. The last time was a little over 2 months ago, when I purchased 2 rings that had a misleading description as 18K HGE Ring. I really thought HGE was an abbreviation for HUGE (as in VTG for Vintage) ... or maybe where the initials of the designer. This was my first time buying jewelry in an online auction.When I received the rings, I checked with my loupe and noticed some green spots on it. Next morning I took the rings to a professional jeweler to see if the rings were really gold, as advertised. He said they were not, they were just gold plated and said HGE is some kind of plated jewelry and that average people don’t know that. I showed him the listing and he said the listing was misleading, since didn’t mention the rings were plated.So, Because I was deceived, I Ended paying almost $205.00 + Shipping for two 18K gold rings that are actually gold plated rings.OUCH!!!Yeah... you feel it! Imagine if it was YOU!The same day I called Tyler Grace Auctions... I requested a refund (and would return the rings) and in summary, they refused to fix their mistake that caused my mistake.Honest mistakes happen, but, we fix them... I am not sure it was an honest mistake anymore.Ohhh, sure, they offer me to sell the rings in consignment for me.I have made a number of attempts to fix the problem and they refused and later ignored me.I just ask you: Would you pay $205.00 for gold plated rings? If you would, let me know... or maybe you can buy some rings from this company.PS: Google says HGE is doggie diarrhea.

Been a regular customer for a few months and I’ve never had any problems. I know that lots start to close around 7pm. They screwed up and put 7 AM, and instead of honoring the already closed items, taking responsibility for their mistake, the closed items were reopened and the time was added to make the new closing at 7 pm as it should have been. Instead I now had to pay more for the lot I had rightfully closed out. You can do better.I tried to be cordial. Your response was rude.

Responds quickly to questions, shipping requests, etc. Received paid invoice on items I won bid on same day of auction closing. Provided follow up email letting me know that my items shipped. Offered to combine items won across several auctions to help save on shipping/handling fees. All kinds of items to bid on from antiques to unique. Definitely at the top of the list of auctions as I view their catalog first.

I have purchased many items from their auctions, in house and estate sale. As with any auction, I have over paid and under paid! They could do better showing flaws and damage in pictures, and sizing. Check descriptions and pictures carefully! The one truly bad experience I had with an item being broken without being able to tell through the one picture or description. they made good on immediately by giving me a refund.

The people at Tyler Grace Auctions are wonderful. They always reply whether or not you call or text. Very courteous happy kind of people. The best thing about there auctions is being able to pick up your items on Sundays. Being a city carrier at USPS, its great to be able to do that since Sundays are always one of our days off, and sometimes the only day off.

I can now shop several days a week from the convenience of my phone and have my items shipped directly to me. Oh, Get this! I have joined many of their auctions, have always found them to be courteous and helpful. They are good at what thy do. Some of the companies are not so helpful but I have always found them to be helpful and willing to do what ever is needed.

I enjoy working with Tyler Grace Auctions and A To Z Estate Sales both as a buyer and a seller. From the selling point of view, they must have a large list of buyers, because the bid prices are always good and competitive. From a buyer standpoint, I have found a number of unique and valuable items of a collectible nature. Their staff is knowledgeable and easy to work with. Five Stars!!

Estimated my antique dresser to be worth 3.000 to 5000 bucks. They than auctioned it off for 1.900 $ and kept 700 $ or close to 40% as fees. BAD Experience for me. Thank god, I only auctioned one piece of furniture. Not being experienced at this, they could have told me, that the estimate means nothing at all. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

The process was super easy to register and even easier to bid. I won some items and they emailed me pretty quickly with pickup information. Already on my next auction, will be bringing items in for them to auction off for me here soon as well. Staff is friendly and down to earth!

I usually watch Tyler Grace Auctions each week. They have a variety of items and I have never been disappointed with the quality of items. Shipment usually takes 3 to 6 days which is fine with me. They are a 5 star company.

The staff are very helpful at all phases of the estate sale. I felt well-prepared before, during and after they conducted my sale. I continue to review their current auction listings each week, and am amazed at the quality and variety of the sale items. I highly recommend this company with no reservation at all.

My item arrived broken. I immediately took pictures and emailed them, then called and was able to speak to a person at Tyler Grace Auctions and she was supposed to get back with me, and even after 3 emails and that phone call, I’ve not heard a peep on how they will handle my claim. I tried calling again and it went to a voicemail box that was full, so I couldn’t even leave a message. I spent almost $150 on this item, only $17.80 of which was postage, so I’m anxious to see what happens and if they’ll make good on sending me a refund. Needless to say, I’m disappointed.

I have been buying and selling at/with Tyler Grace since their second ever auction. Always satisfied, never a problem. The owners and staff are easy to work with and very accommodating.

The auction ended and my card was charged for $40, $40, 10. Ok, I should be getting an address to pick up soon? Pickup was today at 10am-5pm. At 10am I sent an email asking for the address or refund. Then I started receiving random charges for $28.9?, $1, $4, 38.9?, $40, $10 and it has continued on since then. I was emailed back that I had unpaid items and the address location would not be released until it was paid in full....as random charges kept being charged or declined. I was told to pay ASAP or my items would be given to the 2nd highest bidder and absolutely no refund would be given; this is a contract...but in their own policy it states, items will be removed if unable to pay the full balance and paid items will be made available. Perhaps had I not been charged randomly I could have paid the balance, but due to their refusal to stop charging my card, I am unable to pay, the charges that did go through were not applied after the initial 3 payments and they have refused to let me pick up any of my items.Now, I have read through the reviews and I know what the response will be...oh that is not the way the story went so...here are the emails, screen shots and what not. Beware people...there are so many better auction houses out there and much better service. And...theres another charge.

4+stars. There are always 3-4 auctions every week with Tyler Grace. Lots of stuff and I almost always find something (s). And, its a good place to consign. Staff is friendly and becoming very professional.

I was the winning bidder on three lots of clothing. My total was over $400. There was no preview due to the pandemic. I have purchased from other auctions for years and flaws are always stated in the listing. Got the clothing home and 75% of the items are stained and unusable. Very disappointed. Listing should have stated the clothes were not in good condition. I will not be back.

SELLERS BEWARE! I signed a contract to pack and pick up my items after being told that they no longer did in-Home auctions. I was not told this by Amanda in the initial consultation. The movers came to my house and after spending a total over 2days of 3 1/2 hours, I was told by Zoey that they would not honor the completion of the contract but would charge the higher commission rate on what they did pick up. The moving team was careless with the furniture and put deep scratches in antiques. Once the items made it to the warehouse many nice items were missing and never auctioned off. I was told some jewelry was put in storage by mistake without telling the owners. When trying to get an explanation, I was treated by Zoey with rude and insulting manner and was hung up on. My items were actually auctioned off over a period of three weeks and were scattered among other auctions. Zoey always denied any wrongdoing and customer service was non- existent. Although this can only be written off as a very bad experience, I only regret that I didn’t give my items to charity to be enjoyed by others who would appreciate it. I am thankful I did not entrust my entire houseful of items to be auctioned off.

The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. The whole experience is pleasant and they always have great items in their auctions.
