We went with Main Street formals for our tux rentals for our wedding on April 10, 2021. I cannot recommend them enough! They have a large selection of suits/tuxedos, great price. They were super easy to work with and very professional.

We had a fantastic experience renting tuxes for our wedding from Main Street Formals. From our initial consultation to all of the guys picking up their tuxes the day before the wedding, everything went flawlessly and the guys looked amazing! We rented their entire outfits here, right down to the shoes, and everything was very high quality and well-priced. Robert’s excellent customer service when I had some very specific questions impressed me beyond belief and I can’t recommend Main Street Formals highly enough!

I went here a few months ago to get a tuxedo with my son. The product was over priced and the manager was rude. I will definitely not be going here for future shopping. If I could post 0 stars I would. You would be better off going to Mens Wear House.

We couldnt have asked for a better tux rental experience for our wedding when it comes to Main Street Formals! They did a fantastic job in making sure that our guys looked and felt great on our wedding day. They also did an amazing job in helping hubby and I coordinate the tuxes with our color scheme. They had the best selection compared to other stores that we visited. And the most incredible part of our experience is what they did for my dad. My dad is wheelchair bound and living in a nursing home. He wanted to wear a tux and it broke my heart to have to think about telling him he would probably not be able to since we couldnt physically bring him anywhere to get fitted. Then we visited Main Street Formals after having a few places tell us that they would teach us how to measure my dad, Robert offered not to teach us how to measure him but that to make sure it fit without error, that someone would go to the nursing home and measure him! I almost cried, just the fact that he offered it at all when nobody else did was amazing. And they followed through with it! On top of that, when I went to Main Street Formals to pick up his tux, Robert gave him not only one shirt but three and detailed instructions so that the CNAs would know exactly how to dress him! Fantastic one stop shop for tuxes, suits and tailoring. The atmosphere is a step back in time with Sinatra playing in the background and old time photos of the Rat Pack era. Each staff member is attentive to your wants and needs and are a tribute to what customer service should be. Ill never go back to the big name stores and will only get my suits from Main Street Formals.

I came here for my junior prom tux, and it was a pretty great experience. They staff that helped me was very friendly and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. However it is very overpriced. My senior year I went to Men’s warehouse in Dartmouth and saved a lot of money compared to here. However, the quality was great, it was just too pricy.

I tried both mens warehouse and main street formals for senior prom, and Im telling you right now, go to main street formals. The staff is attentive and helpful. The woman who helped me took more measurements than the man at mens warehouse, the rental cost half the price, they had a vastly better selection, there was no long explanation of terms and conditions and she didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need. Great local business.

Went here because I needed a new suit. My last one was from a department store and never seemed to fit quite right. The gentleman gave me a few to try on. Once we decided on a suit he asked me to stand in front of the mirror and he began putting pins everywhere. Im not sure what he was doing, but the suit looked amazing. Now I have a great looking, custom suit for less than what I paid at the large department store. Thank you for making everything so easy.

A few months ago I had a speedy wedding I had to look sharp for. These guys worked with me through all my ignorance and confusion, being a first-timer to the whole ordeal. Even through my own problems, the owner worked with me to get the rental picked up when it was not convenient for him THE DAY before my wedding. I was horrified and relieved with his assistance, and am forever in his debt for saving a wonderful event.I would recommend this shop to anyone looking to dress up even remotely, and even if it is out of the way. All the staff have an attention to detail and the experience to know what you need, even if you dont. The prices were beyond fair, and for the personalized services I couldnt ask for more!

Professional, courteous staff will get you fitted quickly. My only advice is to buy here instead of rent. The price of two rentals is easily as much as buying a whole suit.

Being a woman and coming to a tuxedo shop filled with men was a transition to say the least. During the first trial run to get the suit fitted the woman who helped me was great. She made the entire process completely pain less and made me feel comfortable. When we returned to pick up our suit, she continued to be helpful. However, the man who was working to fit the suit was very rude. He got into an argument with my fiancé to leave the back room where I was changing. When she stated she was waiting for her fiancé he said yes well well take care of him and send him out when were all set. At which point my fiancé said its not a he my fiancé is a woman. He then ignored her and said go wait out front. My fiancé explained to him that she was there to help me with the suit and make me feel more comfortable and he told her she could wait out front. As the argument ensued, we realized he was not going to ensure his shop was an accepting and friendly establishment. It was very clear that he did not care that his customer base was happy and had a great experience. Instead, he caused a scene and failed to realize that he made a situation that I was already semi-uncomfortable much worst for not only us but the other customers in the store. I have never experienced such poor business ettiquette from a business person nevermind a small business shop who runs their business based on referrals. I have had family members use this shop in the past which is why we decided to come here. However, I will never recommend this shop again based on how rude and disheartening the man running the shop was.
