Very disappointed with Acushnet Creamery. The ice cream is delicious but the service not so much. My first time at the Acushnet location. Ordered a large Sundae which cost over $6.50 and it was very poorly served. Worst I ever had. It calls for 2 spoons but I got a very small 1.5! How I wish Dairy Maid was open year round! Never coming back and give my hard earned money to this place. What a joke!

Tried a couple of flavors and they were bang average at best. Good selection of flavors and decent parking. I did not try waffle cones/cups but they looked good. However taste of ice cream was average, slightly lower than 3/5, I’d say. They do offer a couple of dairy free flavors.

Awesome ice cream for sure but Im taking one star away because they dont have the option of soft serve. I understand they are a homemade ice cream place but they should at least have a little variation and have the option of soft serve. This place is always pretty busy but you dont wait all that long and the service is good as well. Will definitely continue to stop in for a sundae.

Acushnet Creamery is AWESOME!The brownie sundae with Coffee Oreo ice cream is the best ice cream sundae I have EVER HAD!!!!!!! I keep raving about it! It was huge! Go here whenever you can - it is like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity where you can go back!

Had the Banana ice cream. It was cold and creamy but not too banana tasting. They do a good job getting the line moving.

It’s ice cream, who wouldn’t be happy? They were out of my favorite flavor but it forced me to try something new, Cookie Monster. And it’s now a tie for favorite. Prepared great as always and very large serving size for sundaes. Love this place

Delicious ice cream store. Huge selection of flavors with four different sizes of cones or cups. I had the no sugar maple walnut and it was delicious. Nice young people are the helpful staff. Definitely recommended.

Saw their posts on FB and was tempted to take the 35 min drive to Acushnet. Finally we had extra time on a Saturday and had to go to Fall River and decided to try it. First off the young man helping us had no personality and looked aggravated. Ordered a small Hot Fudge Sunday of the Boston Cream flavor and it was extremely small and the flavor was average. My husband got the Raspberry Serenity and the flavor was actually tasty but again for the money you are paying not worth the size. When they post to FB they must have the right person taking the photo to show the best of the best. If I want the best Ice cream in Massachusetts I will stick to my favorite in Swansea there is no comparing taste, size or price.

The best. Very friendly, quick service, and top notch ice cream. My kids love their Cookie Monster (okay, I do too...). The chocolate chip was very vanilla-y and delicious, and the cookie dough was amazing. (The strawberry was a meh. Get something else.) To top it all of, there is a playground right next door. Im planning to spend most of the summer here.

They are busy a lot but they do a great job!!

My husband and I took our daughter for some ice cream and they took the orders in front of us quickly and they got their order right away. They told us we will be right with you and they left us waiting for a while so we left. There was a long line waiting when we left and they were not making any effort to take orders. And they dismissed my husband when he tried to ask a question.

Wooooooo baby their Cape Cobbler flavor is to die for! Ice cream in February is the best, you never have to worry about it melting. Staff was friendly, even 10 minutes before closing! (Which is rare to see, most of the time employees want customers to get out)

Acushnet Creamery has ACED C19 Social Distancing! 👍 KUDOS!!! 👍 Ordering online allows for no 🚫 exchange of money or card swiping. The parking lot is sectioned off with alternating signs (parking) and cones (no parking) so there is ample spacing of the requisite 6feet. The A/C worker is wearing gloves🧤 , a mask 😷 and a traffic safety vest👷‍♂️, and delivers your order right to your car (simply text them your parking spot number on the sign and your order number from online)!!! Very conscientious! And very courteous! Cant say enough 💥GOOD💥 things about the whole experience! 🙏🏼THANK YOU Acushnet Creamery for being diligent with adhering to C19 guidelines when 100s of people in the area cant manage to wear a mask and stay 6 feet apart. Well done A/C. Well done indeed!

Went their tonight. Had to call in an order from the parking lot. The attendant brought our ice cream out. No big deal. Half way through eating in the car ( no other options) we were told we need to leave because its getting busy and they need the parking spaces, which was bs because nobody had pulled in, in a long time and there were plenty of spaces. Dony bother unless you want to eat your expensive ice cream on the side of the road somewhere

Great setup given the situation. Order online only, paying ahead, then go park on site and call the number on the sign to let them know youre there. They bring it out when ready. Prepare to wait a little while to get a spot on busy nights...but why wouldnt you, its the best ice cream in the area. And they have a menu item for your dog, too!

Not only is their ice cream top notch, but their customer service is amazing as well. They have been working very effectively throughout the COVID pandemic and even know how to make it work during a power outage. My hat’s off to the team for doing such a great job, they’ll always have my business!

Wonderful service absolutely delicious ice cream

A Google search brought us here - our first time. We followed the posted directions for curbside pickup: ordered and paid online; then sent a text to the posted telephone number on the sign. Our order was delivered to our car within 5 minutes! (Note: There were only 3 or 4 other customers in the lot.) Excellent ice cream - among the best Ive had! Will definitely recommend it to others. Kudos to everyone for adapting their service during these pandemic times.

Great ice cream. But every time Ive gone its a little bit busy, so Ive always had to wait. Not terrible but, 20 minutes or so to be able to order. But the staff is friendly so its not so bad.

Just ordered online for the first time and had a little miscommunication about my frappe. They remade it for me at no extra charge. Plus there customer service on the phone and pickup in there parking lot was 5 star/excellent.

Ok my wife and I just when to Acushnet Creamery, Doug and Donna have setup an awesome curbside pickup service, very fast service, As we where sitting on main street waiting to go Into the parking lot there was a vehicle trying to make a left turn into the lot and the employee lot tendant waved the vehicle on ( no left turns allowed ) needless to say the guy was not happy ( O well life goes on ) get in line like everyone else, The traffic, the lot system, and curbside service that are put in place work great, if everyone has a little patience they can enjoy the great tasting Acushnet Ice Cream that is made on site. Hi five to Doug, Donna and the entire Acushnet Creamery Staff, When you go please leave the staff a tip they are doing a great job.

They have curbside pick up which is great.Ice cream was good.One suggestion provide napkins.

Curbside pick-up is almost always a disaster. Poor time management usually leads to many cars lined up on the side of the road waiting to get into the parking lot which is just an accident waiting to happen since it is on a busy main road. Prior to Covid-19 there was no sneeze guard or plexi glass in front of where they make the waffle cones which has never been too sanitary so hopefully they change that now that Covid is around. Theres usually cross contamination with the ice cream from them not rinsing the ice cream scoops properly. Multiple times I have come here and almost every time theres some other flavor mixed in with whatever flavor I ordered. Before Covid and during Covid service has always been extremely slow. The ice cream is good if youre willing to wait and pay the price for it.

Their ice cream is top notch! Lines can be long but worth it. I only gave them 4/5 stars because I ordered an ice cream cake from them and start to finish it was a disaster! Wrong wording, wasn’t ready on time, no apology. The cake was yummy but not pretty.

This ice cream is stellar! Its super creamy and flavorful; its kind of like a really thick gelato! The staff is friendly and the service is quick. The creamery is also in a central area with many fun places to visit and eat your icecream; take a five minute drive in any direction and you wont be disappointed.

Its been years since Ive been here and although there was a pretty long line waiting, it moved pretty quickly. I got a large homemade waffle cone with blueberry cheesecake Ive cream. It was good but massive in size. The flavor was there and all the ice cream is made on-site here or so Im told. If youre not on a budget and dont mind waiting a few minutes in line its worth it.

The aroma when you arrive is to die for. The Line was very long although it seemed to move rather quickly. Prices were very reasonable! Staff was polite. Ice cream was great. Wish there were more seating areas. Would definetly return.
