They are a true hold out to by gone days when book stores were king. They have a quiet, yet exciting atmosphere. You can browse books, games, trinkets, or just sit at their coffee shop and reminisce about days gone by.

I love book stores! This place smells of books and coffee, its wonderful!!! They have such a wide range of books on so many topics. They are well stocked and the staff was very friendly.

This is a smaller store, inside the mall in Abilene. However, dont let that dissuade you from checking them out. They had a very large selection of categories including a humongous selection of merchandise. I actually ended up purchasing 2 mugs and a framed print. The clerks were present and helpful when I needed them. I will be going back as needed, as long as Im in Abilene.

I always love books a million. They have literally everything a bookworm could want. It reminds me of a much smaller Hastings.

Manager on duty was absolutely awesome. Came in to do a return and definitely will be back.

Always visit the mall when we come to Abilene and Books A Million is our point of entry and exit. Kids love the collectables and books. Its a great environment and heplful staff.

The book selection was endless. I couldnt find anything on forex. Its not a common request, I understand.

The book selection is nothing special. As I was browsing through the store I said Hi to a couple employees who didnt respond or even acknowledge me. I ordered a $6 cup of coffee and left a $2.50 tip. No thank you or have a nice day. I go to Books A Million quite often and despite the recent decline in customer service Im sure Ill be back as there are no other similar book stores in the area.

This is my FAVORITE store to go too! I mostly go for the manga and plushies but its a book store so it has a little bit of everything. Very cool journals, coloring books and trinkets for almost anyone. The only bad thing I could say about this place is that theyll sometimes only have one cashier when the line is really long so that can be frustrating. Other than that, I dont really have any complaints.

I love coming here sometimes i think Im not gonna buy anything but then out of nowhere Ill find a book that really sparks my interest.

I love to read and I love well priced books. There is always a great bargain here and I cant pass it up. The store is well organized and the books are in great condition. Staff is friendly and attentive to the customer.

The selection of reading and reference materials is broad, and well-organized. The staff seemed fairly busy with stocking/etc., yet also very willing to drop what they were doing to help out. I bought a programming book and am very satisfied! Looking forward to my next visit!

It was great to sit in an actual bookstore.

Everything was fine until I went to stand in the check-out line. I was not standing in the right spot and I was barked at by the girl at the register that I was not at the end of the line. I attributed her rudeness to me wearing a Trump cap. So I decided to put the book back on the shelf.

Exorbitant prices on most books (although Rick steves was comparable to Amazon) and they didnt have Thomas Sowells Basic Economics

Came in to get a book and staff took me right to it. She was friendly and helpful in checking for the second book I wanted. Store was clean and orderly.

Michelle, the cashier at the counter, was rude and unprofessional. She is supposed to be a frontliner at this store but she is not accommodating at all. No smile or whatever. Just being a grinch at this season. Anyways, I told her to renew my membership first before punching all my orders so I could make use of my membership benefits and coupons. But she wont listen and just being lazy I guess. I purchased a lot of books today from this store and was disappointed by this figure who should represent right courtesy and professionalism at its finest. So I ended up paying the books I bought without using my membership benefits at all. Nonsense. I used to love this store. But never again with a personnel like this. I am a quality control personnel and I should say, she made the store look bad in so many ways.

Books for all ages and a great staff!

Wish I could give negative stars. Store had sign up for additional 50% off clearance. I took some time shopping and chose two items. I asked a manager if other items were additional 50% off and was told that nothing was. When I showed them the sign they took it down and said it ended yesterday and they didnt take the sign down. I explained to the manager linda that they should honor it since the sign was up and she told me no. If you cant properly mange your store and remove sale signs you should honor the sale.

Good selection of books, for young to old. Has a lot of extras and some decent sales. Their card program is great for extra savings. Besides the library, great place to get books. Does carry a lot of extras for the popular books that you wont find anywhere else.

Be careful in this store there is ALOT of witchcraft in this place. They are more of that than Christian.

Books-A-Million, in The Mall of Abilene, is a wonderful establishment to lose yourself. Love their up to date inventory on one of the things I most admire about this world: BOOKS. Highly recommend. Plus, its the only mass book-for-sale company in The Big Country.

My new favorite place in town. The perfect bookstore. Friendly knowledgeable staff who are experts in just being nice, friendly, fun humans. Dont look sideways at an old lady buying graphic novels, horror, or new age stuff along with Christian materials. Like the smiles and help I get no matter what weird thing Im looking for.

Large selection of all topics. Good discount prices. Good coffee shop with inside and outside seating. The delicious aroma of coffees always makes me want to sit and enjoy a cup.

Staff was very helpful and had what I was looking for.

The check out line had 20+ people in it when I came in the store. I looked around for about 30 minutes and went to check out. Line was still 20+ people. I walked out without a purchase because I didnt have time to wait. There were 2 check out folks at the parking lot side registers. I didnt go to the mall side to see if those lines were shorter. Today is Sunday before Christmas so I understand why so many people but the last lady in line when I got ready to leave looked like the same lady as when I came in the store.

Theres mini twister, heck yeah- bought that and corn hole, youll totally love it, near the left end on a rack near the check-out area, so many toys, and fun little bookmarks for kids, teens, adults. Watch out for the opened slime containers, and dont open slime please!! Its so much work for the workers to have to clean up your mess

Wonderful selection of not just books, but also vinyls and product merchandise. The coffee shop inside is a bonus also. Can be a little crowded at times, but overall great experience.

Mostly books, but also gift items, toys, coffee cups, miscellaneous items can be found here, making it an interesting place to visit, even if your not looking for a book.

Do not attempt to use their buyback system. I waited 20 minutes for them to take my information. I left 15 audiobooks and probably 20 books, including brand-new popular hardbacks. They did NOT text or email as promised. When I went back 3 days later, all but 5 books had disappeared. At that time they informed me that they do not buy back audiobooks. They offered me $1.40. That didnt cover my gas. Do yourself a favor and donate to your local library.The store is cluttered, understaffed and corporate is difficult to work with.

Lots of books to choose from obviously!!! Other items as well. Makes you want to read when your in there! The follow through is the hardest part. You can even get social distant coffee, except for the guy sitting at the table coughing 😷

It depends on whos working depends on the service you get the books are okay theyre not great for the price on top of that theres limited selection of certain authors then its my boyfriend went to go and find somebody couldnt really find somebody the second time he went looking the first time someone said yeah well send somebody back there 10 minutes later nobody shows up. Store and then I went ahead and I called not for a little while then I finally got somebody I was like look I need somebody to buy backs and they were kind of rude when I called them but Im like what else do you want to do it at least 10 minutes or somebody and employees like to disappear

I love books a million. My son loves going there to look at all the Harry Potter stuff that they have. Every time we are there we feel welcomed by the employees and the fun feeling that the store gives off!

A lot of books available to purchase and view. Great selection. Feels a bit high for some of the prices of the other knick knacks around the store.

Glad they had the book I wanted! So hard to find stuff in this place. After 30 min looking had to get help. I hate that. Like to find it in my own but that was just to hard to do here.
