This was my first time ever being in a Joann store. I usually order online. As a quilter/sewist I must say the selection is wonderful, so many options! Great coupons through their app and really awesome in store sales. I will absolutely visit again anytime I visit Abilene.

Beautiful fabric but Kinda pricey. Everyone is friendly and its very inviting.I didnt find the prints Im wanting but found something that would work.

I forget what a cute story this is since I dont sew I forget its there. I signed up for an email and got an extra 20% off so enticed me to visit. I so glad I did I bought some beautiful glitter pumpkins for the fall and it was by ones get two free at equal or lesser value. They were having the end of the summer sale so there was 70% off a lot of floral arrangements and wreaths were 50% off and then get two free. Happy 🛍!

Slowest cashier didn’t care line backed up, moved so slow. I had to ask her to request to open another register and she whispered into her mic but nobody came. Then the register ran out of tape and she took me to another register but couldn’t log on. Then the sale item rang up as full price and she just stood there until I made her get help instead of standing there like a sloth. I only had two people in front of me and it took me 15 minutes to check out. I will stop at hobby lobby from here on out.

I love Joanns Fabrics. They have such beautiful things! I went there to pick up some Halloween print fabric that I found online and that they happened to have available in stock. Sadly, their Halloween print fabric selection is pretty miniscule. You can find tons more via their online store, but if you want to buy directly from the store, the pickings are extremely thin. They do have a beautiful selection of jewelry making supplies. Looks like they are now competing with Hobby Lobby in that department. Their holiday deco items are gorgeous but a bit too expensive, especially for the low quality of the deco pieces. Its a good time to use as many coupons as possible. All in all, its a fun store to shop at and I absolutely recommend you check it out if you havent already.

Two days after I made a purchase, I went to exchange it and they would only give me store credit for a portion of the purchase price. They clerk must have dropped my receipt because it was not in the bag... the coupon that comes with it was, but not the receipt. So I was only offered store credit for 20$ of a 32$ order... (based on a sale price from months ago that I didn’t receive). Keep in mind this was only TWO DAYS AFTER THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE. I consider that theft!!! I’m sure there’s a policy somewhere on the receipt I was supposed to receive!!On average I would go to Joanns 3 to 4 times a month. After this incident, I will not be back!!!!

Very hateful workers there. They were very rude, and not wanting to help find what we were looking for. I know its hard on everyone and crazy times right now, but there was no need to treat customers that way.

It was fine. I just went to see if they had any catology puzzles and some sundress material.

I saw my neighbor there looking at fabrics. She does a lot of sewing. I was pleasantly surprised to find a wide variety of beads to make jewelry. A young staffer led me right to the section. It was a pleasant experience.

Joann is definitely the place to go for fabric and yarn. We got so much on clearance.

Great craft store, has a variety of stuff ranging from fabric to unfinished wood and floral crafts. They offer classes too! However they feel understaffed at times, only two people working on most days. Go when you have time and arent in a hurry. Most employees are ready and willing to answer any questions. If they dont know the answer they will find someone who does.

I tried to find a good beginners crochet book, but the books are all shuffled together. They should be organized by category so people can find what they need. There is plenty of yarn to choose from, so I may be back for that.

Any kind of material you want is there. Kind of expensive. Was impressed with all the stuff to decorate they had. Only place to get outside materials though.

It is between seasons, so disappointed that after a 2 hour drive they didnt have spring fabric out yet. Clerks are few and far between. My few encounters leave the impression of unhappy employees. They arent chatty or friendly and not helpful. I know of what I speak since I worked in retail management in a fabric store for 30 years. This store isnt busy like it used to be. And I hate the way fabric is displayed. It isnt draped so you cant tell what it looks like.

Only a few employees. Trying to find a particular product after searching found an employee to ask. The directions she gave were not accurate. The fabric was not where she said. After more searching I found it in a totally different spot.Did end up finding what I needed just took awhile.If you go here be prepared for a wait. Only one person cutting fabric, when I went there was a line.

Very hard to buy fabric there. Only 2 people working the entire store every time i go making it difficult to buy fabric when you only have 30 minutes to spare. Only go when you have at least 3-4 hours to burn because most of your time is spent waiting in line or waiting for an employee to be available to help.

You know yall may need to have a meeting and IMPROVE staff awareness. NOBODY is available to HELP. I sat at the fabric cutting area with another lady, who has no children and has more patience than I am able to have. A manger (making the assumption because she wasnt wearing any identifying apron) having this long drawn out conversation with another lady who did have on the apron.... it SEEMS yall ignored TWO customers. Then I went to the cashier table to get my own help and waited... NO ONE WAS THERE!Im highly annoyed because this isnt customer service... I seriously bet I could have walked out with half the stuff in the store and no one would notice...I think that a MANAGER should have stopped whatever conversation she was having and assisted BOTH of the CUSTOMERS.Oh and btw... this is the 3rd time I havent been able to get any help and left my stuff in the cart and walked out.That alone tells me that I wont be back to your store. Yall need to make some serious improvements on staff. Even management.You know I was just shopping at Michaels since I couldnt get help there, and I was explaining what happened at your store and the guy that I was talking to said he has had the SAME TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with yall. He said its like the customer is a ghost. INTERESTING!
