Okay, first things first -- Frontier Motors (S Clack St. Location) gets an all around A+ 5 star rating from me. I was dead set on wanting a truck, and I ended up purchasing a 2014 Dodge Charger due to low inventory on trucks in general, in correlation to the COVID-19. Also, with the addition of needing a vehicle immediately, so I took the next best thing for the time being.It was most definitely more than a struggle trying to find a good-quality truck that lied between the boundary lines of my desired price range. An quite frankly, I thought I was SOL after having the vehicle for about 5-6 business days -- due to the sale already being processed and sent in to be finalized. However, by some MIRACLE all the sales associates managed to GUARANTEE I was overly satisfied with my purchase. Answered all my questions, made me feel at ease every step of the way, and very efficient with doing follow-up calls and staying in touch throughout the ENTIRETY of the whole process. So, within 5 minutes upon my arrival to do the exchange the next day; Tyler Addesso and Casey (Frontier Manager) were already 3 steps ahead of the game.I didnt have to do anything extra or even stress about what could possibly be done for me, because they already picked out 3 different trucks IN ADVANCE, that they believed to be a good fit for the RIGHT PRICE. My preference was a Chevy Silverado, and ironically enough, that is EXACTLY what I got -- for NO EXTRA MONEY DOWN. They were very friendly, generous, very compassionate and family orientated; and I must say -- Caseys beautiful little daughter I got to meet in the process was just an added bonus.This team of sales men representing the automotive industry REALLY has the right idea. I cant remember everyones names, but even the sales representatives that werent responsible for helping me, WERE STILL HELPING ME! Which, I have never received with ANY OTHER CAR DEALERSHIP in ABILENE, TEXAS. That type of customer service cant be bought or taught -- either you have it, or you just dont. An more so, it felt like I was hanging out with friends rather than people looking out for their own financial gain to get me in any available vehicle. However, if youre looking for someone affordable, budget-friendly, with a big sense of luxury and low mileage, PLEASE come and visit them. They are basically a warped version of nurses and personal caregivers when it comes to finding you the right car for yourself, or for your family -- LOVE THEM, and in my opinion, ALL OF THEM deserve promotions.Thanks again Frontier! Our 3rd vehicle from Frontier. Best experience this time of 3 good experiences. They went out of their way to facilitate the insurance settlement on the previous vehicle which was wrecked; worked on the financing even though it was through a bank not them and even set the vehicle in reserve for a week while we finalized arrangements. Are they doing this to make money? Of course but they could do that without all the extra mile stuff we received. Good folks to deal with. Recommend them highly.

I am rewriting my review from a year ago. The sales manager..Casey rushed me to give a good review as he had no intention of fixing the car his salesperson sold me. I was promised it would be fixed as part of the sale. Casey actually had possession of the vehicle at least 10 different times. He said he was taking it to his mechanic. It was never fixed. I finally had to trade it in to Lawrence Hall where I was taken very good care of I might add. The car died in their parking lot and as they put it on the tow truck oil started pouring out of the engine. I will never do business with Frontier again. This would have been the 4th vehicle I bought from them. This is the car lot on the southside. I do not recommend this business!

I actually give this place no stars due too I was out of work for about 2 1/2 months and they would not work with me even though when I got my Workers comp that whole check went to getting cetched up on the truck from not getting paid. Witch was about a thousand dollars. So I would not go here they will screw u over in a heart beat

Go somewhere else. I was told I had to fill out a credit application before theyd negotiate on a price. They repeatedly asked for my monthly budget instead of respecting my desire to negotiate the actual vehicle price. As another reviewer mentioned, they charge double the KBB / Blue Book value. Yes, double in my experience too. They wouldnt budge a dollar and I was given some BS excuse about KBB not being accurate. I took my business to a different dealership who happily matched the Blue Book value for the same vehicle (imagine that). I was also offered $1,200 more for my trade-in compared to what Frontier offered. All in all, I saved nearly $8,000 buying the same vehicle at a different dealership, with none of the hassle. Walk away from this shady dump, and watch your step for the landmine of cigarette butts out front.

When I purchased my car from this company I was impressed and excited. I was informed after even purchasing insurance for the vehicle through one of their recommended companies all was taken care. I drive home brownwood late one night after class hit a hog. Go to contact about my insurance and it was cancelled. Asked why was told they never recieved photos. Had Casey and Juan tell myself and my husband they were sent. Was sent back and forth now Im 5,000$ in debt because I had to pay to fix my own vehicle. Then we get a call when my car isnt even out of the shop if I dont have insurance in 24 hours my car will be repossessed. Have asked Juan for the cooperate folks number and was denied. Have asked for an extension on my insurance since I paid over 2300 to fix my car.Im a full time mom and student it was not something my family and I could afford and now there went our Christmas. I wouldnt ever in my life recommend such crooks. I trusted them and they have made ZERO effort to make this right. Now we have to contact a lawyer so I dont lose my car that Im NEVER late on a payment for.

Im sure the customer service is good here, but the prices of the cars are nearly double the actual value. Check blue book prices for accuracy so you dont get screwed over.

Prices are alot higher here. I hate that they won’t post pricing on website and sale people don’t even know the pricing. It is very frustrating for us when the salesman is having to run back and forth to see how much something is and doesn’t know anything about the inventory that’s on the lot.

BUYERS BEWARE......Way over priced. My mother pays on time, in fact she pays a couple of days early, and because of that they are telling her she owes late fees for not paying on the due date. Which makes no sense to me. So I asked her send me a pic of the contract and this is what I discovered. A crappy ranger only worth about $3k being sold for $12k an interest rate of 22%. This is the type of deal you will get here folks.

Very friendly. They help you A LOT if you have no credit. I had my first car bought for $3,500 for 3 years. There were a few problems, but eventually my cheap car died. Went back and they gave me $500 for my old car as a trade in, and i got a better car! So far so good. They set up payments for me, and i pay every other week! And i didnt have to pay the WEEK AFTER i got my car. They told me to pay it on may 6th and en go from there! Love them. Will go back if this car dies on me waaaaaay down the linr :)
