We were looking for rubber/rain boots. They only had a couple pair and none in my size. We ended up buying work boots instead as they indicated shipments were not consistent. I love my boots! Fair price too. The young man working the shoe department could use some training on how to interact with customers. He was very nice when asked a question but wasnt very helpful. He pointed to where certain types of shoes could be found but never offered to get any for us. When had to call him over every time we needed something. He wasnt busy, just standing there but not anywhere near us. We were the only one in the shoe department. I dont like sales people to hover but at least be nearby. I have a feeling he may have been new or his first job. He was nice and Im sure will get better as he gets used to the job. Sales arent for everyone but in time, it could work for him.

This location told me they would get back to me twice and twice I had to remind them. So finally after applying on line and leaving my resume twice I got an interview!! Also got Hired!!! Yay!!! Was asked to fill out simple form they scanned my ID and my social security card. Never gave me a start date or responded to me after. Two weeks went by and I emailed still no response. I was hired and they even sold me shoes the day after I got hired to start work. But they hired me and never got back to me and took copies of my personal info with no intention of hiring me. That is against the law to trick someone into giving you their social security number for a job if they are not using it that way. How can you hire me and never respond to me?

They open early at 9:00 a.m. and I was able to pick up a baseball helmet in time for my sons game. Good selection and great service.

I thought the company name was for what it sells, not who sells it. Ask us what were looking for and expect us to take u seriously...? Eating isnt a sport. But if I need advice about it, I know exactly where to go. Thanx guys!

I honestly love the merchandise they have its always a good quality. Also the team members were so helpful I dont usually get such good help but I recommend this place for nice shoes and cute sports clothing. I got really nice shoes and they ended up being way cheaper then I thought, so that was a score. I do enjoy stopping in every now and then.

Store was clean. Greeter at the front was cheerful. Customer service guy in the shoe department knew next to nothing about shoes. I had to ask him where the sales shoes were located. After looking for a few minutes with him just staring at me, I told him thanks for the help and I would just look around on my own. He seemed relieved to be off the hook. I know I was glad to see him go.

This Big 5 is okay with lots of merchandise however, their stock is full of holes. Ive never been able to find consistent sizes for my family, over the years of shopping there. Average sizes missing...

I like the place it has alot of shoes and anything sporty its a good place to go for any workout or sport equipment

I dont dislike the Aberdeen store just think that when 1 person is shopping in the shoe section and 3 employee are standing talking to each other NOT 1 of them asked if I needed help! The 2 girls at front of store acknowledged me when I came in

Good selection of shoes. I always go here to get comfortable shoes when they are on sale. They also have a good selection of medium priced sporting goods. They have weekly sales, every week, so if you want something just wait for it to go on sale and pay less!

Friendly staff, however some of the sale and price tags are placed in a manner which made understanding what was what confusing.

This is a very large & very well stocked store. I have ALS & I wear AFOs on both my legs. That makes it difficult to find a pair of shoes that fit & are supportive enough. I went there looking for a pair of sandals. The sales clerk was friendly & more than helpful. Not only did I find a pair of sandals, but I got them for a mere $29.99!! This store has anything you might need for your workout, your hike, your camping trip, or any other outdoor adventure you might plan. Their prices are very affordable & their staff are knowledgeable about what they sell.

They are fairly inexpensive and very helpful. They were the only place that had what my son wanted for Christmas.

I actually live in Gig Harbor but am in that area a lot really like the employees there they are very pleasant to deal and always there to help you. Compared to others stores I guess it could be just the bigger city thing.

In comparison to other Big 5 stores its quite small. Selection is limited and quite seasonal depending on what youre looking for. Staff seems unknowledgeable but theyve been friendly when Ive been. Prices are a bit out there but thats every Big 5.
