Chris (Service Advisor) gave me 110% recently as he ensured that my vehicle received the proper service, then afterward demonstrated to me that everything was fixed -- he truly wanted to ensure that I was fully satisfied before I left. I went there too look at a Corvette and the sales people there made me feel very uncomfortable on top of that the car was filthy and needed work.During the test drive when I mentioned the car needed work he volunteered to test drive the vehicle for me saying nothing was wrong.The only thing they seemed concerned about was how much money I had in my bank account and they really seems concerned about the poor condition of vehicle. They constantly asked how money did I have and that made me feel very uncomfortable. Never again.

Literally the worst experience. When you are looking to buy a vehicle they are more than helpful, after you purchase you can forget any and all help. My car started stuttering less than a month after purchase and they told me nothing was wrong, breaks were squeaking and they again told me they couldnt recreate the sound or effect. Save your money and go to a dealership that actually wants repeat customers. Oh yeah, and its been over 3 months and I still do not have tags I paid them for.

Chip Defries my salesman, Sam Cook the sales manager and the front desk receptionist was beyond helpful during my vehicle purchase at Cook Mazda! During these crazy times its hard enough to get in touch with anyone but with Cook Mazda I had no problem. They took such great care of me and was able to answer all my questions! I was in search of a specific model Mazda that they had in their lot and was able to work out a deal and schedule everything with ease (which means a lot when I lived 2 and half hours away). I was able to arrive on Monday and was in and out in 2 hours with my new car! Thank you all so much for your help and if it wasnt for the distance I wouldnt even hesitate to choose this dealer for my service as well! Thanks Chip, Sam and the staff at Cook Mazda!

My first experience/ impression with Cook Mazda was amazing. I felt respected and provided with great service. Bruce helped me immediately and listened to what I wanted. I didn’t feel like I was being sold a lie. I didn’t plan on buying a new car that day but I fell in love after test driving the mazda3. I told them my budget and they were able to accommodate me. I left the dealership smiling ear to ear lol. I’ll be back for my routine maintenance. Thanks Cook Mazda !

Poor business ethics and customer service. Vehicle was listed on website as having options (fog lights, sun roof) and we spoke with a salesperson prior to going, however when we got to the car lot, the car did not have the options that were listed. After mentioning the missing options to the sales person, he said that it was just an error in the website listing and has been happening lately. This leads me to believe that this may be a common occurrence in order to entice a potential customer to the lot, as well as being false advertising. In addition, even though the vehicle was listed at a price that included the options, the price did not change for vehicle. We did speak with the owner/manager who was borderline rude and condescending and just wanted to try to offer us another vehicle (bait & switch). Overall, between the false advertising, bait & switch sales, and the poor customer service of the businesses manager/owner, I would not recommend them. The salesperson we did deal with was very pleasant & helpful.

Terrible dealership with poor customer service. Service Manager said he submitted a claim for warranty and it was denied and when my wife contacted corporate, they had no record of any submission. If I could give them no stars I would. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I had an excellent experience Tavian at Cooks auto. When I arrived, he was already in the vehicle, ready for me. He had become an expert on the vehicle I came to see, knowing every feature, every aspect, everything. He even tested the bluetooth and the sound quality of the speakers. It was his excellent service, along with his manager that caused me to reject the other vehilces I was looking at and do business with Cooks and Tavian. Great price, great vehilce, no regrets.

Greetings!I purchased a new 2020 Mazda3 from Cook Mazda Chrysler Dodge Ram in Aberdeen, MD in September 2020. Im not usually one to write reviews, but this time I felt it was well deserved.I consider myself a customer with high expectations (difficult customer?), plus I love cars and am very particular about them. I had trouble finding what I wanted (front wheel drive) home in NY (where 99% of dealer stock is all wheel drive). After checking online inventories within a 4-hour radius, I contacted Cook Mazda who had exactly what I wanted (drive, color, etc.).Salesman Dominic reviewed the deal with me via email, including the trade-in offer. He was very transparent and followed up on emails within a business day.Once I made it to Aberdeen, Dominic gave me the opportunity for extended test drives, including interstate highway. He worked with general manager Jerome to improve the deal further. They both listened to my budget constraints and brought the numbers to a comfortable level. Meanwhile they were both zero-pressure.I did have one concern: the pre-delivery detailing was not as I had expected it to be, and at that point it was too late in the evening to correct it. Dan, another manager who works with Jerome and Dominic, stepped in and listened to my concern. In these situations, people can easily get defensive and make excuses - thank goodness that didnt happen. Dan immediately acknowledged the concern and provided options to make it right.Finally, I made it to the finance office, which was the fastest processing I have ever experienced. Finance manager Randy was very expeditious and did not attempt to pressure me into buying any unwanted add-ons.I read a lot in car magazines about the Mazda brand wanting to go upscale, which includes a more posh dealership experience. Cook isnt what Id call posh. Its down-to-earth, possibly a few things to work on, yada yada. The reason Im giving 5 Stars is the fact that everybody there listened to me. They never interrupted me, talked over me, or attempted to discredit my concerns. I felt I was among decent folks.Thanks!

I purchased my leased car on 8-21-20 and told they had to give me temp tags which are now due to expire this Wednesday 10-21-20. Have emailed the salesman, apologetic but no follow through, and have waited a week for the tags and title person to return my call.Not sure I would use them again . . . Unfortunately. I understand we are in pandemic but come on - wheres the follow through?!!The MD DMVs website has not been recently updated re expired tags. A niece just purchased a Ford last week at anothwr dealership and was given real tags.Cooks dropped the ball on this one. Making a DMV appt today and going that route.Use another dealership

We stopped in unannounced after a faulty air dispenser at an area gas station nearly flattened our tire. Chris and the service department were wonderful and took care of us right away. We expected them to just inflate the tire and maybe check the pressure on the other tires but they went above and beyond and inspected all tires and valves for any damage or leaks. We were in and out in a few minutes, and they did not charge us for their time. Thank you!

Despite a pleasant experience with a member of the sales team, this was the worst dealership experience I have ever had. After a pricing discussion, we agreed to a final price and interest rate. We waited for a couple of hours, go through all of the paperwork (a portion had to be corrected three times since the numbers were wrong), then we were shown the interest rate. It was more than double what we agreed to when we discussed pricing. The representative cited a miscommunication despite the fact that they were directly involved in the price discussion where the dollars and rate were made very clear. Cook lost on a couple with perfect credit ready to put a significant amount of money down. I would avoid this dealership

If you dont mind getting offered a completely different vehicle than you saw and read about online then please goto this dealership. If you want the vehicle that you saw online then GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I drove two hours to see a Ford truck with an 8 bed and had a nice interior. I was presented with a truck with a 6 bed, a very basic interior, and parts litterly hanging off. I expressed my discontent and was told that they were stock photos. I inquired to the discription that supports the photos and was told sorry. I would not drive around the corner to buy a car from this dealership.

If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. First off, I never write reviews but my experience with Cook has been such a nightmare that I needed to share it before someone else were taken advantage of. So, I went into the dealership noticing online they had the exact Subaru I wanted. The salesman who helped me was just fine, no complaints but the finance representative was terrible. He constantly cut me off when speaking, would not listen to what I was saying, but I ended the 3 hour experience with driving home in the car. The next morning, I receive a call from the same finance rep, he wanted me to come back in because he had something else for me to sign. I drive the 45 min drive back to the dealership only to find out he wanted me to sign whole new loan documents. I explain to the rep that I signed all of these documents the previous day, and I was not signing into another loan obligation, so I then left with no purpose of going there to begin with. A few days later, an accountant at my employer (I work for a financial institution) notifies me that a check I had written from my checking account has been presented for payment twice. Come to find out, someone at Cook took my check (my down payment) to two different institutions to be deposited. Thankfully, this raised suspicions and my institution returned one deposit for duplicate presentment. (I have documentation if this were refuted). Last but surely not least! 3 months into having my new car, it begins to make noises and I can tell something is not right. I take it to the Subaru dealership in Hunt Valley, and guess who needs $4,000.00 worth of work..ME! Needless to say, I would never recommend this dealership to someone who values their money and their time.

Cook Mazda in Aberdeen, Maryland completely exceeded my expectations.I recently purchased my first “brand new” car. I was a little hesitant about test driving anything because I’ve had some awful car buying experiences in the past and the whole thing to me is a dreadful process.Tom Perrault made my car buying experience an absolute breeze! I came in to look at a used Mazda 3 and after test driving it, I fell in love with the car. Tom ran some numbers and went through a few comparisons and got me in a BRAND NEW 2017 Mazda 3.Tom Perrault is an excellent salesman; he is kind, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. I felt no pressure to buy that day. Tom answered all my questions and made the whole process as stress free as possible. The entire car buying experience at Cook Mazda from start to finish was so easy. I will be back in the future and I will be telling everyone (that I haven’t already) about the outstanding customer service they offer!I could not be happier about my experience, their excellent customer service, and my NEW MAZDA!! Bunch of lairs and cheaters. we bought our car from them and asked them if car was in accident or not and was told no. Just found out it was in accident two years before we bought it. You can report them to MVA fraud unit . MVA site form called IS-109 (12013). I have filled complain and talking to my Lawyer . I add one comment yesterday regarding this but looks like they took id off. Beware buyers.They dont even deserve one star but too bad you cant post it if you dont pick a star. and if you claim there was a signed paper that I know about it, Show it to me. As far as I remember, You told me there is none.

My car was recently totaled and I was in need of something new quickly. I havent always had the best experiences with car salespeople, so I was more than a little hesitant about going through the process again. After researching many types of cars, I was interested in the Mazda CX9 and decided to try Cook Mazda.I called ahead about a CX9 I found in the online inventory. When I arrived, I was greeted by name and all of the information pertaining to that vehicle was ready to be discussed. It was clear that all of the staff members definitely know what they are talking about and dont try to get over on you. They offer a very personalized experience that doesnt ever feel pushy or rushed. Additionally, Jason Templeton, the Manager, was fantastic - made sure I had everything that I needed, and even followed up with me days after I bought my car to ensure I had no questions and that everything was just as I wanted it to be.My mindset about car buying was truly changed by an experience that was nothing short of perfect. I would definitely recommend Cook Mazda to anyone in the market for an awesome car and car buying experience! :)

We recently purchased a 2017 Mazda CX-5 GT AWD from Cook Mazda in Aberdeen, and we are happy with our new vehicle in every way. The gas mileage is great. The ride is quiet, smooth and comfortable. It is very responsive, has a lot of pep, and is really fun to drive. Mazda got everything perfect with the design. It is truly a luxury vehicle.Elijah King, our salesman, got us exactly the vehicle we wanted and answered all of our questions. JT, the Sales Manager, and Jason, the Finance Manager, supported Elijah throughout the process and provided an excellent purchase experience. The Service Manager and the Parts Manager helped us to obtain the accessories we wanted. We purchased from Cook because of the outstanding service they consistently provided for our previous Mazda. I have been a customer since 2013. I’m starting to believe because I am a woman and or the color of my skin some of the staff treats me different and give me service is poor. When I came in to get my car repaired a loaner was confirmed for me. When I get there they gave it to someone else and put me in a piece of junk. Also in my contract it states I get free car washes and vacuum. Car was never was or vacuumed and they said they did. Person who washes the cars stated he never touched it. These are just some of the things I deal with at Mazda Cook. If this was you how would you feel?

Before I bought my car....Cook made all the arrangements for a major body work repair on the car a later bought. The repairs looked perfect...Then Cook took the car as a trade in.... Then sold it to me...No One reported this to CARFAX . So when I asked for the CARFAX, I was decieved.Long story..i will try to keep this brief.I shopped for weeks for a Mazda CX5. I found an offer on line for exactly what I was looking for 2016 CX5 /low mileage/basic model/White...at COOK MAZDA in Aberdeen MDThe car was 2 1/2 hours away. I called and asked if the car had been in an accident. They said No We will give you the CarFax.The car appeared perfect. The CarFax showed no accidents...only oil changes. I bought the car. 2 months later it became evident that the passenger side of the car had problems. the biggest problem was the door wasnt closing properly. So i took it to my closest New Jersey dealer...the auto body manager showed me the indicators of a major repair.Silly COOK personal who sold me the car accidentally gave me a paper with the previous owners name and phone #. So i called her. So much for privacy.She told me the whole story and is assisting me.... she hit the side of her car on a large pile of cinder blocks. The lady originally bought the car at COOK MAZDA... She took the car to COOK Volkswagen for the body shop repairs as it was closer to her home . ....The COOK Service Manager Highly Recommended a specific auto body shop. (I do not know the name of the Shop yet).....The COOK service manager took care of all the arrangements to have the car repaired and even gave the lady a loaner car. Shortly after this she traded the car in for a Volkswagen at COOK Volkswagon.... COOK VOLKSWAGON KNEW ABOUT THE ACCIDENT..... The accident was never reported to CARFAX ....Cook Volkswagon handed the car to COOK MAZDA to sell....So when the car was sold to me I was decieved.Dont be CROOKED......and you cant really trust CARFAX

They DECEIVE w/CarFax....Before I bought my white 2016 CX5 from them, I asked if the car had been in an accident. They said No and we will show you the CarFax. I bought the car and shortly there after found that it had been in a BAD accident and that their company knew it. The lady who owned it before me hit a pile of cinder blocks. The CROOK Motors repair MANAGER took the car to a repair shop who does not report to CarFax. CROOK Motors then sold the car to me.......I had no choice but to trade the car back to CROOK and buy a new Car...... NOW.They still DIDNT report the accident and SOLD it again vin#JM3KE2BYXG0784746
